Agree, it just that they are really not selling their “story” enough to believe actually love each other. Feels very wattpad like.

Honestly that’s why I can’t buy into their “love story”. I can see why she would fall for him as she sees him as this pure soul she can play with. But they have nothing in common, no shared values or energy. Why would someone so uptight fall for her…he is supposed to be less vain than the others. The ML is just perfect for her.

I would pay premium to watch all remaining episodes

Exactly, it’s frustrating to read those misogyny rants just because some people root for a grey ML and not the perfect man.

But most haven’t read the novel. I wouldn’t root for a total psychopath even a hot fictional one. In this second life nothing he does is evil in my books as he has every right to seek revenge and try to protect his last family members (even if it means rebellion and violence). If he was arbitrarily killing or abusing people no way I would ship him with the Fl.

That’s the point I was trying to make above too. For some reason, not criticising the ML means that we are being misogynistic. I haven’t read the novel but I suspect he was much more evil there. I can’t really see that side in this second life (I don’t take his manic episodes into account as he is not really conscious then).

I’m not saying he is a good boy, I’m saying that there are reasons why he acted that way. She may not have directly killed people but she has made people suffered, which is evil in my opinion. The whole purpose of her second life is redemption so she is clearly not innocent. The Ml isn’t either but you can’t portray him as totally bad in this second life just based on flashbacks from the previous one if he is seeking revenge.

He was annoying but they made his character grow super quickly, which is rare for SML in these type of dramas. All side characters (expect the real antagonists) will prove to be incredibly loyal and interesting to see grow.

Wow I hope the drama follows the book though. I assume they would have that wedding night shortly after they are back.
