Zhao Ling and Fu Ting Yun make the perfect team. I like seeing strong FL in historical dramas. At first Fu Ting Yun was really too soft for me like I understand her status but Lord she was not street smart. But she grew and understood the life outside her home.
I am glad she was able to do all this with Zhao Ling and oh how he loved her because he did everything in his power to ensure she got a good life.
He is tough on the outside but so soft on the inside for her.
They werent shy with each other and wasn't afraid to show the public how they felt for each other.
Despite all they went through to the end, I am satisfied with the ending.
