I was thinking same thing. Like how they are not questioning the fact that star player has new personality and…
I think they should've found some excuse\reason why "Zee" lost all his playing technique and experience. In the end, Sprite doesn't really do Zee any favor if he pretends to be him, but plays awful and fails.
completely agree. I don't understand why some people have to mention others in their comments. One can love or…
Yes, back then it wasn't as easy as today and we didn;t have as much content. But we still had good movies and some series like QAF or Looking. tbh I've watched God's Own Country and didn't like it, but I see many people do. I'm also not a big fan of Call Me By Your Name that seems to be successful, but I think it's becuase I read the book which was much better. I felt the same thing about Red, White & Royal Blue. I read the book just before the movie came out and was so disappointed with the film.
I don't understand how Zee's teammates don't think something is very off when a good player suddenly doesn't know how to play. Adding to it the fact he acts totally differently, don't they think something is not right?
Also, I got really confused - in the beginning of ep 6 First says to Zee to leave him alone (when their pic is taken), then short after he practices with Zee and it's like they made up. Did I miss something? Everything went slowly so far and then in one ep they became close friends all of a sudden.

I'm glad to hear that, thank you :) We are the same, I've been watching queer media for years before I started to watch BLs. I still love those older series\movies very much. I see in your profile the quote from Brokeback Mountain - love this movie too =)
I beg please don't rehash that old argument in here about likening those who dislike the show to toddlers who…
completely agree. I don't understand why some people have to mention others in their comments. One can love or hate a series without making it sound like whoever disagrees with them are stupid people who don't understand sh*t. Is it really that hard to just write a comment with their opinion that explains why they like\dislike a show without being condescending towards others in the process? I've seen it also in other pages and it's very annoying (and I really hate claims like "this series is serious and deep\real, it's not a fluffy romantic series so girls don't like it bla bla bla..."), Anyone has the right to like or dislike a series, different people - different tastes. No need to be mean and mock others just becuase you don't see eye to eye.
The only brain activity it needs is finding ways to cope with how horrific the NC scenes are.
Sure Thailand is not France, but sex work is sex work in any country as far as I see it, and I've seen all kind of movies about this topic from all kind of countries. But just becuase the topic is important or serious, doesn't make the movie\series to be good. The JP film The Shortest Distance Is Roundabout also had sex work plot, but I still found it to be a terrible movie. If we leave the NC scenes aside, they make it hard to feel for most of those characters. When Teena fought with Zouey and was about to cry, instaed of feeling sad for him I just laughed as it was funny instead of emotional. Everyone loved Chains of Hearts? I've seen many people who were really disappointed with this series just like I was (becuase this series wasn't good as we thought it'd be).

The problem with this series (which I do enjoy in a way) is not just the sex scenes and it's not because it's not a romcom. The problem is that it's not well done, the acting is sometimes just bad and the editing. There are great movies that deal with the sex work industry without being cringe or just poorly done, for example the French film Sauvage from 2018. I don't think anyone who started to watch this series was looking for some vanilla romance drama (I assume that like me many watched the trailer for this series).
Sameee when I think Porsche? (see I'm confused even now) left looking upset and Captain appeared looking happy…
Well, I thought eating pizza from someone's body is more bleh than sexy 😅 I prefer eating pizza from a plate 😂 Now I wonder too, I sure hope so! some of those scenes looked good. I somehow missed his hair color haha

oh wow! thanks =) I went and looked, I totally forgot about it! well done finding it! it's such a short part. So it means we won't see this part in the series? (I'm not really complaning, I didn't like this part in the trailer 😂). I'm surprised you remember Soong's hair color from the trailer, even though I rewatched it, I haven't noticed his hair color haha

Well, I don't remember the part where we see it in First's phone 😅 😂 that actually sounds about right, like out of context those short parts from some NC scenes look so good, but the real scenes are just badly done. I still have the hope that in 14 eps, at least some NC scenes will be any good (after all, there are so many of them 😆)

Yes, makes sense as he's a pizza delivery guy.
They sure like to have 'different' NC scenes 😆
Indeed, it'll be very disappointing :(
