Exactly! I think he somehow became attached to that baby fiend after spending some time with it, and that's what worries me. Characters like Xing Shen typically begin as righteous and want to protect everyone, but then turn twisted along the way (for e.g. Xiao Yi Ren from TJOL). Maybe it's just me, and hopefully, my opinion is incorrect. LOL 😆
