Yeah.. they should've investigated more, but I don't think they even considered it back then (till the present time...). Hatred has blinded them.. After watching yesterday's episodes, yes.. In fact, he's more of a threat, not only to Sui Ge, but also towards the whole Storm Alliance. That white hair doctor wants fame through his skills outside, like ya said, greedy. I wonder if there'll be chaos in that small secluded place in today's episodes.. Maybe, by rooting out these threats, Sui Ge and his people will gain acknowledgement from the current head of the alliance, and also will be allowed to leave freely... If things go well and if the real culprit behind the alliance's massacre is not Feng Ping Chen, then Sui Ge might even get them onto his side... Just an assumption..

The drama and its characters really live up to the name that revolves around 'fate'. Cuz whatever happened in the plot were one's choices and also the consequences of the path they took, be it good or bad. However, those choices were sometimes caused by something they couldn't control, like how Sui Ge and Yi Xiao, met as sworn bitter enemies, but ended up as inseparable lovers of the century~

Our poor Lu Ke has to gobble down a mouthful of chicken(?) sprinkled with a bunch of chilli flakes... 🤣

Ohhh~ I didn't think that deeply enough. Now that you mention it, during those episodes, chills went down my spine watching old Murong on a k!lling spree.. yikes! Tbh, if the Empress hadn't agreed to his "request" to save Murong Yao, he might've also k!lled her on the spot.. My initial take was, because he was driven to the corner with no more hope left, Murong Zhong took on the 'villain role' to protect what's important to him (i.e. his son), whatever the costs. After reading your comment, I guess somehow he's one crazy person who has just unlocked his hidden dark side~

Same.. I did think he wasn't really smart enough, and he really isn't. He's more like a spoiled child throwing tantrums and now his dad has to clean the mess he made...
