I'm not a huge fan of the running away plotline or the pacing of the past 10 episodes, but I do think her trauma makes this make a lot more sense. I wouldn't blame her for needing time off to grow and heal. I wish she hadn't felt the need to do it alone, but it makes sense for her character. I hope the next 5 episodes don't disappoint.
Ngl I thought this was gonna be like a fucked up little love square when I started episode one and now I'm like...????????? what am I watching??? this is insane like I wasn't expecting two villains but I'm hooked and can't wait for the next episode
this is goofy and cliché and I'm loving it because it seems like the drama is self-aware they know what they are going for and they are doing it pretty well this is hitting the tropes, the angst, and the nice bickering between the leads No this is probably not going to be a groundbreaking drama but it's exactly the drama that I needed rn
I wish I hadn't finished this in a day but yeah this was entertaining. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as I had hoped but this was still a nice way to kill time. My problem is that these 10-episode dramas tend to lack focus and I think it's kind of the same problem here. There are too many central characters, thus the focus is all over the place and the characters end up feeling hollow. It feels like we ended up only seeing glimpses into their lives, which may or may not have been intentional, but it really bothers me because it takes me out of the story. The second couple ended up feeling empty because there wasn't enough time to go through their backgrounds and lives in detail. Obviously one of the things that brings the watching value of this drama a lot higher, is the actors. This cast is great, thus I don't think the issues in this drama stem from the actors. In my opinion, there just isn't much chemistry between Choi Woo Sik and Park Bo Young. They are both great actors but I'm not feeling their romance as well as I'm able to feel their relationships with their families. I initially came here for romance but I'm not gonna lie, I think the grief and living with it - parts were the best thing about this whole drama. I think the best scenes of this drama weren't even between the leads but between Ko Jun and Ko Gyeom and between Mu Bi and her mom. In conclusion, this is somewhat worth watching but nothing memorable.
I was apparently too desperate to watch anything, so I didn't drop this (yet). I'm a sucker for some angst but my GOD this is boring. The scenes aren't interesting and the main leads are suffering alone. Like I truly do not get why Asian countries love the trope of 'not telling my partner what I'm going through, so I don't bother them'. Why are you even together if you don't tell your PARTNER the stuff that's most important?????
Nakarai and Fujisawa confuse the hell out of me. Why is Fujisawa jealous in the preview when he has literally shown nothing above friendship-level care to him... Jun and the girlfriend I can somehow understand, since I guess she could be asexual. Regardless, she should have let the man go. He is miserable in that relationship.
this drama is just not written well I keep skipping forward because the characters feel so fake. It feels like a script put into chatgbt with the prompt "emotional, trauma, main characters are good people who want to save the world". The editing isn't good either. The scenes aren't cut well and the shots aren't interesting. I've been refusing to drop this for a while but I think I'm done.
Yep, it's on the website of WOWOW, which seems to be a legit and well-known Japanese TV broadcaster:https://www.wowow.co.jp/detail/200492?utm_source=twitter_drama_kaigai&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=250128_twkd_0244&s=09
I mean yeah I'd assume so, but I kinda thought this would be like Descendants of the Sun (kdrama) where most of the drama is set in the foreign country.
I did not read the description and I definitely thought they'd spend most of this drama in the East Country. I guess that this is probably going to be a sad drama.
binged this in like 5 hours I'm not gonna remember anything about this in two days but it was okay. Nice romance, nice chemistry and pretty solid enemies to lovers arc. Also when was this filmed? The editing and CGI feel old for some reason.
I'm not gonna lie, I was watching this when it was airing and I completely forgot this at like episode 28. I skipped through to see the end and I literally did not remember anything that had happened previously. I think this drama was very forgettable despite the insanely intriguing beginning. A shame tbh since the chemistry was very good in the beginning.
Oh Jun Hwa okay ... um yeah. Jung Gong Joo slayed with the acting though. Sexy psycho was not on my list of things I was expecting in this show but... I'll take it. If you need a love triangle where the third just doesn't believe he doesn't have a chance, make him a villain. Like honestly you are already kinda crazy at the point where you blatantly refuse to believe you have no shot.
I hope the next 5 episodes don't disappoint.
