cute and simple drama

The male and female leads are not too popular actors but I enjoyed their interactions. The supporting characters were not too annoying Xin Wei but Man Kui, I disliked her. The story is not similar to About is Love but kinda remind me of it. Although it's cute and simple because of the happy ending It is just lacking the natural way to kiss a girl. I don't know about why rich families always try to marry off their children for business interests. That is so crazy backwards and selfish, so glad Qi Lu was firm on his decision to reject it.

True bond between brothers is not by blood

What a story full of anxieties and surprises. I like modern dramas like this with strong female and male lead characters, Su Mo and Ju An. Don't let eps 1-16 make you think you should drop this drama. At first that's what I was about to do but thought I should give it a try to understand why the title was The Outsider, I was very curious. Having seen all of the individual character development, I understood why. IMO script writing was good on this, I have seen urban related dramas like strong female centered plots, and this is the reason why I continue liking them. The supporting male leads are also interesting to see how their characters mature in the story. The only thing I disliked was the villainess who's always in all Chinese dramas, scheming to get Ju An away from Su Mo, didn't need this in the story. Also flawed early proposal or love confession from Peter to Su Mo was ridiculous. I also liked that Mo Wei Qing was enlightened. I thought she would be the weak mistress until the end. I'm a fan of Vengo, he's a good actor. Not a perfect 10 score but still, I will recommend this if you like this genre.

Overrated May - December Romance

I know the main actors are great in acting but they really annoyed me because rather did not convince me that true lovers vibe. Disappointing how SZ's baby talk, the supposedly 20-year-old role portrayal was not smart, and the plot lines were lacking. Their conversations were a bit immature like listening to teenagers sounding superficial. What I like about SZ is that she was ready to defend him at all costs when he was being bullied by the villainess. What I didn't like about DJX was that he allowed himself to be harassed by the villainess in the early episodes. He could have had a restraining order issued against her. There are no such laws about sins (debts) of a father must be paid by son, in my opinion. I was disappointed that her brother did not have enough character development on the screen. I was really curious about his girlfriend. Real age of DJX is confusing. Their kissing scenes were not swoon worthy at all. Not a good match? chemistry, perhaps casting was a mistake? Not a horrible dram a by any means. Have seen Zhao Lu Si in other romantic dramas but this one didn't give me the vibe. The sibling sister-brother relationship was spot on, glad I admire the brother's acting, Victor Ma did a good job on this. I give the writers credit for that! Dislike flashbacks, story is too slow. I can only give 6.5 rating.

Pure Unconditional Love Story

I love that the story is about everyday people portrayed realistically. Some other romantic dramas I've seen this one is different. Especially when it comes to divorce and separation from your family. Once you become an independent mature adult you will relate. Having a controlling parent or two parents is just sad experience. But in this series, it tells you that you can cope with it just like Lu Chen and Gui Xiao. I kind of relate to them. Thís touched me the most. In addition to my admiration that they foster a child of a divorced friend. This really is a series that I will admire the most like touching my heart and is about public servants and real-life heroes like police SWAT officers giving their lives for the sake of their duty and what they are signed up for. Kudos to script writers. Soundtrack is the only thing that I did not like but will re-watch in the future.
Highly recommended!

Detective Su is the female version of Sherlock Holmes

This drama is one of my favorites, just the plot twists and story kept me interested in watching all episodes. Sabrina Chen as Su Ci was beautiful to watch and Zhang Ling. His gentle and kind portrayal of Prince Qi was superb. I can't believe his first drama and his kissing scenes with her were swoon worthy. He should be getting more lead roles in the future. Their chemistry was tops. Well written script, beautiful ending for strong Su Ci and Ru Shuang, not rushed. I'm happy that Su Ci kept her career after the marriage unlike other dramas. For Bei Ming, glad he did not die.

Hope in life can lead to happiness

I liked the unique stories of the manuscripts Feng LinTian was writing in this series. These mini stories in Wang PuTao's book reminded me of Stephen King's movie "Needful Things". So interesting. I enjoyed watching and kept me glued. Not an ordinary short drama. I was able to understand all the characters' role and their relationship to Wang PuTao's experiences. I admired Fei's acting unexpectedly and she delivered! Miles Wei is the reason why I was vested in this series. I have seen him in "Unforgettable Love" and "Find Yourself".
I loved the quirkiness of all the supporting characters too. In addition, ending music was ok plus the beach vibe location of this series was awesome. A daughter like Pu Tao to an Alzheimer's disease Dad Wang is forgiving. We cannot judge her on that. A very difficult one for sure. I liked the ending that a princess can also save the prince! Girl Power! I will definitely rewatch this drama with a better English subbing (the only thing I did not like).

Could have shorten the number of episodes

A very long drama, too many flashbacks BUT glad to finish with a happy ending. The character most I admire in this series IMO is Li Dong, I have never seen a man so calm after all the kindness he had given to the woman he's in love with and then got rejected. I was so sad for him because I wanted Mei Ya to accept his love. Truly one-sided love in every aspect. Same with other characters like her sister to Li dong, SiYu and Li WeiWei to Oh Yang and ZiJie to Ruo Nan. Lesson learned , revenge is not a good thing. Always cherish the present people around you, who love you will be there for you. Being a good friend should always consider her feelings first not take your friend's lover selfishly.

Best Strong female lead I have ever seen in the c-dramas

Episode 11 was truly excellent, very moving - where she played the zither, it made me teary and the #1 reason why I have to finish watching.
She played the piece 'The Spring Fading into White Pear Blossoms' a folk tune expressing a woman's lament about her fate, filled with sorrow and grief as if she experienced great injustice.
To add the lyrics of the song " Even the moonlight can't bear to wander, watching me helpless and forlorn. Who's giving up so easily?
In my opinion, one of the best performances of the main leads and they nailed their roles, great acting and chemistry even with zero or less kissing scenes, that did not stop me from dropping - plus all the supporting casts delivered. Kudos to the script writers. I have nothing negative to say about this drama. I liked the story, worth watching until the last episode.

Women who fall for lies should watch this.

Qin Li and his sister were scammers, and he was a psychopathic liar, verbally abusive husband, very toxic and very convincing role for Fan Zhi Xin, he kept me on the edge and terrified for his wife. Sad ending for him but I'm glad the wife got away from him safely. Lesson learned 'never stay in abusive relationship.'
Not my favorite genre but watched it for Fan Zhi Xin, bravo performance. I really liked him in My Lethal Man. Hoping he will have more swoon worthy romantic roles to come in his next drama.
Kudos to everyone involved in making this drama.

Such a waste of too many episodes

The only reason I watched this drama was my curiosity on the main leads. Yu Zheng and Xiao Su. At first the story was okay for me but there were times that they could have just avoided misunderstanding really. It was frustrating. No ROMANCE at all.
I particularly disliked their Love - Hate-Love tropes. They were actually not meant for each other. No chemistry but the script writers made them so distant instead of building a story of closeness and loving relationship. What a waste. I did not have any fluttering swoon worthy moments to enjoy with their scenes. I was hoping to see some ROMANTIC kissing scenes from them.
So I gave this drama a 1.5 rewatch value.
Now the other supporting characters were so annoying, very draggy and stupid dumb most of the time, IMO. I blame the story line to be poor on this.

Before they got married

What I like about this drama is how natural the lead actors including Quan Quan the sweet little boy portrays their characters. It's almost like they're a real family. The thing about sexual harassment at workplace is so bad and made me furious because it should be zero tolerance, I know it happens all the time anywhere in the world. I like how Xin Qi handled it for Min Hui. Applaud to Min Hui for physically defending herself from Qi Rang's attack. All their kissing scenes also the other couple Cao Mu and Jia Jun are swoon worthy. I just loved watching them. So Sweet. Truly a rom/com. I was also satisfied with the ending. So, I gave high praise and rewatch value like Once We Get Married where Wang Yu Wen and Wang Zi Qi first drama I 've seen them together.

Ian always love Kelly

Xiao Xiao is not the same person anymore when Jian Qing wanted her to be with him. Sad that they couldn't be together - what she wanted he couldn't give to her. Not destined to be. Their hopes were not the same anymore. He wanted to provide for her, and she won't let him when he had the money and home. She wanted a different kind of love I guess, or I am speculating she wanted him to be happy and successful not as a husband and wife, but just being friends at the end. He has his own family now as a father and a husband to his new wife. His regret is that he doesn't have that right to be friends with her anymore. I cried for them when they were in the rental car. That scene was so sad, my heart was heavy. So real.... regrets in life and separation were too much.

This is my re-watch review

Last year when I first watched this drama it was just one of my rom / com favorites. Too much of cliches but I enjoyed it because of the main leads' chemistry. The ideal husband and a wife in a contract marriage fell in love, they were both capable individuals in the business world. The annoying villainess finally at the end left and GuXiXi was right - Love Is Love - She did not truly love SiCheng because she intended to hurt him at the end.
For Re-watch value I gave a 10. Now I can't wait to see the ending of The Love You Give Me for Xin Qi and Min Hui.

Finger Flick Awakening

I love this movie because it's about realizing that you are lonely when you are with someone you thought you were in a mutual relationship. In other words, you have been taken for granted by someone you're in a relationship with for three years. So, you are all of a sudden has a light bulb above your head. It has to end, learn from yourself, take time to find your true self. This is lesson learned. You can't just stay in a non-receiving end. I liked what her mother told her to find someone who would treasure and care for her and I think the school PE Teacher is promising at the end, but not particularly him though TIME will tell. On the other hand, Min Jae has a lot of learning to do when being in a relationship too. Unfortunately, too late for him to redeem himself to Oh Jin.

This is healing phase from a breakup No Romance

One boring male lead fell in love with a very interesting female lead. A 2 hour movie with no chemistry at all! I like Kim Ji Won's character with the same name with So Ji Sub's character, what coincidence! I mistakenly watched it twice because I couldn't remember what it was all about when I saw it last year.
One thing I like is that ML is kind and very nice to FL when she was sick. What I don't like is that some scenes were like only FL was talking and ML was not engaging, he doesn't talk much. And no romance not until the end. Liking someone is hard, I felt FL has to initiate and confess her interest to see him again. That's tough I don't know if I can do it.
