Technically, there was one with Grace and the second leads, but yeah, no obnoxious love triangle or anything, nothing like the Hobbit movies or something.

It takes about six episodes to really warm up, but it gets quite good. It's similar to Gintama in how slowly it picks up. The quality is consistent throughout, but in my opinion, it truly hits its stride around episode seven.
