I just finished episode 4 . The female lead is in love with her husband and has only joined the mission for her husband. She wants to help him so he can come back to her. She knows exactly the kind of man Ki Chul has become and is not falling for him. She knows he is not the choir boy from her past. The only thing that could break up her marriage is if her husband goes too far and can’t come back from it. I do feel bad for PJM that he may have to watch his boss try to win his wife. That could get messy. Now to watch episode 5.

I watched the first two episodes and will watch the third one tomorrow. But I had to go back and watch the trailer again. So it looks like from the trailer that his wife will help them with the undercover operation in order to get her husband out quicker. It also looks like again from the trailer that the male lead is going to be forced to kill someone and then may have a hard time turning back eventually. I don’t feel like she will ever cheat with her first love/crime boss. She wants to save her husband and is willing to do anything for him. She is a good cop, so I don’t see her falling for the crime boss. But I am worried about her husband. Can he come back from this? I hope so , especially for his wife’s sake. I hope this is not a tragedy. One question I do have and I believe someone else brought this up - if I cop undercover has to kill someone in order to not blow his cover , is that crime overlooked. Can he really do that? I don’t see how you can come back from that. This shall be an interesting ride.

I tried to watch this one, but their relationship was just not believable enough for me. It can be considered a cute series, but not a lot of romance. I was at least expecting realistic kiss scenes, but they were clearly not. It was just not my type of series, I enjoy believable romance with real kiss scenes. But every body has their different preferences.

This is my first long series - 56 episodes! I enjoyed most of it. I did not enjoy all the bullying, but at least the bullies did get what they deserved. There was so many revenge plots (so many people wanted revenge) that I lost count. I was disappointed there was no wedding and also no time jump showing the happy couple living in their home with children running around. After all we suffered through - they could have given us more happy at the end.

Well this episode confirmed the SFL is not a good person. Just WOW! 😡 She is cheating on her boyfriend, probably only marrying him for status. And slapping the FL along with bullying her .😡 I hope we don’t have to endure her for long. But like someone commented, she will probably bully the FL more and get her fired and play the victim again. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I wish we didn’t have to endure that. Also the female lead started feeling comfortable with the second male lead which means she doesn’t have a crush on him anymore. And she is having feelings for the male lead. With us just about half way through the series, we have more to endure. 😞 I wish this series was more romcom than drama. I will endure and continue watching.

I just finished episode 24 and it was so hard to watch the parents say all they did about their daughter. I don’t think I can ever forgive her mother. It’s like she has no motherly instinct at all. It was so very sad. But when the general spoke about her that was amazing. He sees her very differently. Hopefully she will begin to see herself through his eyes. 🥰

Exactly! She tells him when he asks if she was crying that HJ made her cry but they made up and are friends now. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Seriously. She is so manipulative and has not changed at all. So fake!

When he was drunk he told her he had never felt the way he felt for her and that it was love. That means spell or no spell, he was never in love with his girlfriend because he never felt for her like that. And we now know the girlfriend has not changed—she only made up with the female lead because she will be working at city hall. I am ready for her to go away.

His girlfriend is unbelievable — She made me cry. Seriously, not cute. (again she tries to look like a victim, even if she was just trying to look cute) She’s my best friend from high school and we just made up . What? Uh no. You may not have killed her father but you were a horrible bully and the reason why she quit school. This girl is delusional. I just can’t watch her scenes. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I can see what you’re saying. I guess for me that comment he made about why would he want her when he has a goddess of a girlfriend was just going too far (going for the jugular). I was just putting myself in her shoes of how hurtful that was because we know his girlfriend was not a good person. But I know it is part of the drama and things will get better. I was just not giving him a pass because he is handsome and going through a lot at this time. There is no need to be rude no matter what you’re going through.

Yes the flash back strengthened my opinion about the girlfriend as not a good person. And I also found the 2ml a little charming until at the end when he told her he wanted her to find a nice guy, not a guy with a girlfriend. Why does he think he knows her and what is going on? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes the flashback showed us she was not a nice person in the past and probably has not changed deep down. Because she sugar coated her story of the past to her boyfriend. Saying she was sensitive because her parents were getting a divorce. If she had changed she would have owned up to her bad bullying behavior. She called the female not a friend but a maid. 😡

That is exactly how I feel. He was very hurtful. 😞

I knew his girlfriend was not a good person. He is not a good judge of character. I hope he becomes more like able soon.

Had to post this — Why would I like you when I have someone like her ? To me that is very hurtful/ rude. Just wow 😮. Someone might say, well he is speaking his truth. Well I would say keep your truth to yourself. 😡

I am frustrated right now because I feel this story is more about the male lead and his ex girlfriend. He seems to love her and want a future with her. So the female lead feels out of place. I wish the ex girlfriend was not a part of the story. It’s confusing. As to those who don’t think the male lead is being rude, I don’t quite agree. He tells the female lead that he doesn’t find her attractive, he doesn’t want to love her , and his girlfriend is prettier. That would hurt my feelings . I mean who wants to hear someone tell you that you are not their type and they don’t want to be attracted to you. Maybe it’s just me but your self esteem would take a hit. Yes she got them in this mess because she was not cautious enough with the potion, but there it no need to make her feel like she is not good enough for him. She is pretty and kind and has been through some hard times in her life. I enjoy a love story where there is some attraction between the leads. I will hang in there and hope this gets more romantic soon.

You’re right I remember her telling him to go to his girlfriend and then he said we broke up. Hopefully we will get more backstory soon to understand their past.

I am going to hang in there with this drama because I hope there will be romance soon. I want him to genuinely fall for her. I don’t enjoy it when the male lead doesn’t find the female lead attractive - that doesn’t make sense. He needs to find her pretty and likable. So hopefully things change soon. I am worried about the ex girlfriend being a problem. Hopefully the female lead will stand up for herself and not get bullied again.

I agree with you. Having his feelings based only on the potion is not romantic. He keeps saying he wouldn’t like her or find her attractive if it were not for the potion. That really bothers me 😞 I want him to be attracted to her and fall in love with her. The same for her. Hopefully it gets better soon with romance that is not forced.
