I was just planning to dig up the youtube link for the promotional episode on mgtv of hello saturday.. It was a good episode.

I love that both CPs ships are ready to sail... Yang Jian is a sweetheart 🥰and Xu Si is quite smitten, he even gifted his precious cacti plant😂😂

But it won't be easy because even if she has feelings for him.. Just now he holds her future in his hands, so based on the conversation Jiang Hu had with Ms. Yue she may not be ready to confess her feelings.... But atleast both feel attraction for each other... They can find their way.

* Jiang Hu apologizes to Zhaoyang for her previous behavior and offers to start a fresh.... Both girls have a reluctant truce.

* Xu Si calls Jiang Hu and finds her inebriated again, so he comes over at the restaurant to pick her up and drives her back to her factory.... Jiang Hu has very low alcohol tolerance and doesn't remember what she did under its influence.

*Next morning she finds Xu si's tie in her bed.. This makes for a great parallel to episode 1...At that time Jiang Hu was left holding his tie, but the way she returns the tie this time, reflects the great divide between them, he is her investor and she can't have any romantic relationship with him.

* Xu Si is already half way in love.. He also sends her one of the orchid cacti which signifies 'reminiscence'... But Jiang Hu is not ready for that.

* Jiang Hu not to give up comes up with methods to sell her current inventory by streaming their product rainbow coloured shoes along with the paint bag used by Lord Zhao Yang... On display are two pairs of shoes on which Zhaoyang has painted...

*Yang Jian had 'borrowed' Zhao Yang's hand painted shoes without her permission so she gets angry at him... Poor Yang Jian is locked out of her house, she changes the lock to her door... Yang Jian tries to apologize and waits outside her door till she cools down and opens the door for him ❤❤. Earlier Zhao Yang had given new pair of Aneda shoes to him as part of market research, Yang Jian kept polishing those shoes beaming from ear to ear... He later tried cooking the same scallion pancakes that Zhao Yang used to like in school... He is a man worth keeping, I hope Zhao Yang wakes up and realises this soon.

* Gao Yi suggests a lawyer to Zhao Yang for breaking her non - compete agreement with Aneda and breaking her working contract with TT media so that Zhao Yang can go back to designing shoes...

* Breaking contract with Aneda will be easy and less expensive as they breached the agreement by terminating her but it would be costly and difficult to break her contract with T T media as they have helped her earn more so it's difficult to prove their fault.

*Yang Jian overhears Zhao Yang's telephonic conversation with her lawyer... I am sure Yang Jian would try helping Zhao Yang monetarily..

Episode 17 and 18

Did Zhaoyang and Jiang Hu make up at the hotpots dinner? Looks like some of their grievances were aired out.... Did Jiang Hu deliberately purchase the pancakes from Mrs. Chen so the Zhaoyang couldn't purchase hers... That is sneakily devious, Remind me not to make an enemy of Jiang Hu, she has so many tricks up her sleeves... Oh!!!! Jiang Hu and Xu Si are co parenting their cacti plants, one at his place and one at her place, let's see who kills the cactus first😆😆😆. .... These episodes were full of sweet moments, looks like both the CPs ships are ready to sail ⛵...

I liked the slower version more but so far till episode 16..only in two episodes i.e episode 8 and 15 they have used more melodious song other episodes have the regular upbeat theme.. So I was curious if there was anything different about these two episodes.

Actually I meant to ask why only two episodes(episode 8 and episode 15) till now, have changed opening theme songs ???? Is there a special significance of these two episodes?

That's ture, what I meant was the complex business talks from beginning of the series is getting lesser, now all the business strategies are more easy to understand and enjoy for all viewers... So viewers can enjoy the series without getting lost in financial talks.

Great I will check out the whole thread of Titbits in the discussion section again.... I feel 8.5 rating is good, making it a very good drama but not an excellent one in my estimation as I feel it has some minor flaws.

But I think ratings cannot be trusted, it always contains some personal bias and personal preferences....... Data should be more reliable judge for a drama's performance... Even though fans are manipulating that too, to a certain extent.... I feel rank on different chinese ranking sites, how many new followers the actors obtained on weibo during this drama, heat index/ view counts of the drama etc..may be a better indicator of a drama's performance.

I wish success for all Cast and Crew of this Drama... Hopefully they will get more opportunity in future.

I like Gao Zhiting's acting this is the first time I am watching his drama... But he has a very wholesome smile... He is a perfect cast for a 'boy next door' who is caring and warm hearted.

I am sure both Zhao yang and Yang Jian will have very sweet love story ahead.

I agree it is getting better, those afraid of too much business talk can now enjoy more sentimental and emotional side of the story.

These episodes are getting more emotional, I loved how old employees showed their respect and support for the factory... Sly Mr. Pei and Jiang Hu were marvelous.

* Jiang Hu has never ending problems at her factory. Mr. Pei gets angry at the idling Liu Jun and fires him. However a worker cannot be fired randomly, so Jiang Hu intervenes, this causes dispute between Mr. Pei and Jiang Hu... Mr.Pei leaves the factory premises giving ultimatum to Jiang Hu to choose between himself or Liu Jun.

*Xu Si invites Jiang Hu to dinner.

* Jiang Hu arranges a trap for Liu Jun. She asks Yang Jian and his group of boys to keep watch at night. Just as Jiang Hu leaves for her dinner date with Xu Si, she gets a call to return back to the factory. Jiang Hu catches Liu Jun and other workers stealing raw materials from the factory, they have an altercation, Yang Jian arrives sometime later and films Liu Jun stealing, Liu Jun can now be terminated on valid ground, also sent to jail if Jiang Hu Presses charges... Liu Jun is trying to get some workers to leave Tengyue to join another company.

* Jiang Hu arrives late for dinner, the diner is closed but surprise, Xu Si is still waiting for her. They have dinner at convenience store where Jiang Hu happily put together a burger and mixes Xu Si's favorite milk tea... Just the they see a thrash can catch fire, Xu Si is upset as he recalls the fire in his own factory when he was 5 years old. His father and Uncle lost their life in that fire, Xu Si who was on the primise that day watches helplessly from outside the whole building going up in flames while his father and uncle are trapped. ( he had a verbal argument with his mother in earlier episodes, where he told his mother that if their factory had accepted the merger proposal they would have better equipment and their factory would not have caught fire leading to the two men of his family dying) part of the reason Xu Si is closed off emotionally is due to childhood trauma.

* Zhao yang is invited to free unicorn factory to collaborate with them, however the executive there want her to plagerise Italian design hand painted on the shoes. They call stealing as paying 'homage'.... They are obviously using the wrong dictionary if they don't differentiate between the words plagiarism and paying homage😆😆😆

*Another word thrown around in episode 16 was 'moral integrity'... Both Xu Si and Zhao yang refused to take on projects which encouraged plagiarism on the ground of moral integrity... I feel Xu Si and Zhao yang are more alike in their thoughts and their outward cold aloof behaviour because somewhere they both fear to get hurt if they open themselves emotionally... Whereas Jiang Hu and Yang Jian are more open about their emotions and feelings.. That is why Yang Jian and Jiang Hu are becoming good working friends and Xu si and Zhao yang are starting to respect the other's work, I don't think Xu Si and Zhao yang are the kind of people who make friends easily.

*Ms.Song of TT media surprised me, with her cutting remarks at free unicorn.. Before she rejected the offer she very ruthlessly told the executives instead of taking inspiration they might as well directly copy at least the lawsuits against them will generate free publicity. 😁😁😁... Obviously she Already had another offer in hand.

*Mr.pei and Jiang Hu are blood relatives indeed, very sneakily they got rid of Liu Jun and his merry band of followers, without having to fire them. They got rid of unwanted people without paying one month's severance pay... That was a remarkable move.

* Also loyalty from all old workers was heartwarming, solving an employee's personal problem also got Jiang Hu support from her, she poached chef Lin from C-club, but because he has his own supply line, his higher salary cost will be absorbed in the reduced price of food raw materials supply chain.

* Liu Jun looked ready to retaliate... He wouldn't take so easily to be outsmarted by Jiang Hu.
