I thought the ml put a spell on the fl so that no one would recognize her. Like the audience know it’s her but the characters are seeing a different face

No I don’t like these tropes but it’s part of the xianxia starter package. I also wished for more fresh approach. I’d like for more communication, less noble idiocy and self sacrifice. The events of ep 7 happened too fast! I felt like the ml turned into the dark side faster than lighting! And next scene, he was fighting an army? I was like “wait, what, when did that war started”?

Quest to find this divine object, fruit, plant, leaf required to save the lead and/or the world ✅

Well, the fl is playing a teacher and frankly, she looks in her 30s to me. As for the ml, yeah, he looks younger than 30.

Wait, I just realized that 5th hubby is that detestable man that was trying to force 3rd to be his concubine. I skip so many things but,
1- why was he trying to force 3rd to be his concubine
2-is he already married (legal wife, other concubines)
3-why is he trying to force 5t daughter now?
4- is he forcing her to be his wife or concubine during the carriage bride switched?

The ml is a bit slow for drinking that tea without hesitation from people who are constantly torturing and poisoning him. SMH

A bit early to compare CZ to Suyu considering that CZ was super annoying for half of the drama (for me, more than half lol), while only 6 episodes have been released here. Not sure who Suyu will turn out, if he will get his own SFL and redemption arc
