I almost completely forgot that the whole series is a plot of a book that the fl lookalike (author of the book) is writing in modern times. Can’t wait to see the end to find out if she has a bf/husband and if he looks like the ml or one of the 2MLs.

If I had to choose between the ml and ZZ, as much as I love grey characters, I can’t have one in real life, so ZZ for the win 🤣

Is it just me but the fl in the poster reminds me of Jennifer Lawrence

It’s still early to say, since we are at ep 15 of 120, but yes, interesting relationship dynamics are forming. It is the type of melodrama where the fl is super bubbly, left for dead (probably), and comes back to take revenge against all her ennemies, and of course, she will fall in love with the ml

It’s a very long drama, over 70 episodes, if my memory serves me right. It’s also a well-liked drama (highly rated here). The story and acting is good. However, I was not a fan of the ML, although he played his role very well. Try to watch a few episodes to see if it’s for you. Of course, if you have time to invest.

I think the hate is partly due to the release schedule. At one point, we were getting 1 episode every 2 weeks.

I wouldn’t call it trashy good.

The plot is absolutely insane, the acting is questionable, the fl is is this bubbly, trusting, naive woman, and she is currently living in lalaland.

The main villain is crazy/delulu/pathetic and all the evil forces are working extra time for her.

It’s a revenge melodrama, so I used to tune it daily to see if the fl is getting any smarter. However, things are moving extremely slow, so Ive decided to put it on hold until more episodes are released.

But if you like absurd, unbelievable storylines then this is it! lol

Xu Kai is looking really fine here. I thought he was so handsome in Arsenal Military and the Legends. The chemistry is quite good here too. Its actually refreshing to see a couple get together fairly early in the story.
