I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, the actress who plays the lead role looks the same in every single historical drama whatever the era or genre. She has the same hair or hair piece, same red makeup, always looking neat and pretty, whether she’s a maid, fighting, poisoned, sick or dying.

In this show, she’s supposed to be a maid, but she was better dressed than the ladies she’s supposed to serve.

Is wearing signature makeup a common theme is c-drama land?

8 episodes in: I seriously do not care about the ml fantasy world. I find myself fast-forwarding a lot. So far, no chemistry or romance between the leads.

I get that, but the sand demon, which she conjured up, made a commotion and a lot of people were hurt and/or may have died. smh

I have biases against the main actress entirely due to her last role in “Have a crush on you”…I know, I know, it’s petty hehe

I couldn’t stand her character in that show. Hopefully, she’s very different here.
