The ml in TPOF is a great choice! He looks manly, like he can actually hold a sword. I am very sorry but I would not have been invested in this dram if the ml was played by one of the flower boys.

Acting wise, I think Xuan Lu is more suitable for the role. Snow Kong somewhat looks out of place with her makeup to me.

I feel like this drama is better than both the Princess Royal and the Story of Kunning Palace. I liked TSKP a lot and dropped The Princess Royal. The ml was a simp! Couldn’t get into the story.
