It’s not about forgetting or ignoring history..it’s about reading the situation accurately.in this case there’s…
Perhaps I’m missing something but how is his granddad a victim? I didn’t compare HIM to a Nazi, I compared Japan’s crimes to those of Nazi Germany and I don’t think that’s a leap at all. He made a comment which is reasonably offensive, whether the punishment fits the crime is something I won’t say comment on but just because Knets said it does not automatically make it wrong, nuance and critical thinking must be taken seriously in such contexts
The chemistry was 10/10 but the character development was really lacking, the female leads barely had any character and while I enjoyed the passion between the male leads, I don’t think there was much besides it. As for the ending, I’m also wondering if they’re planning a sequel or I am slow on the uptake because it did not serve the rest of the story and it seemed to just leave things hanging. I was quite excited and the passion was worth it I guess
If you were making a Jewish movie and the lead was someone who “respected” Nazis, you wouldn't call the backlash dramatic. Why do international fans shame everything done by Knets? Why can some tragedies and crimes against humanity be mourned while some must be forgotten so you can get your drama fix??
Heartbreaking. I have no other word to describe this. Even more so when you think of how many girls and women are violated the same way and do not have a Li Jen Yao on their side. Or how many kids go through what Yun Chen and Li Jen Yao did without a Hsiao Tung on their side. Nevertheless, I will not be watching anything like this ever again, 10/10
So if I am understanding this right, Hsiao Tung developed Dissociative Identity Disorder and Chi-Chi, who she often sees as an “other”, is one of the identities, as well as Pin Yu and Tian Qing? And for a while, Tian Qing is the dominant personality until later where it’s Pin Yu, seeing herself with a different face (Joy) whereas the world sees the Tian Qing face? Hence the breakdown earlier with the split mirror scene??
Forgive me for the questions 😂😭 I normally watch straightforward romcoms
