There are so many legendary performances...

A child is in danger, and he still has the audacity to think about how to catch Agent Kim. Also, the way he bosses around his subordinates shows that he's not a good leader in general. So far, all I've seen from this so-called leader is someone who's full of ego.

Taking a child hostage is DIABOLICAL. I want him to get his karma idc.
I guess it irritates me even more knowing that he works for the government.

Not to mention the villain, who's on another level of annoying (which honestly makes the show even more fun). The "mole cricket" is surprisingly annoying af. I saw a comment saying that the writer "ruined" the second couple, who used to be such a sweet pair, just to create a romantic path for Gong. Which I disagree with that. I don't think the writer ruined the cp, I think the writer shows the reality of why even a sweet relationship could fall out.

My first impression of the couple is "they are very sweet".

When Guang Ming (the husband) lied for the first time, my first thought was, "Oh, maybe he just doesn't want to burden his wife." I figured he didn't want Xiao Rou to worry about his workload. Later on, it's revealed that Xiao Rou is an incredibly understanding wife. He lied about how another woman approached him, what happened between them, and how he responded to her. It doesn't matter if he says, "I didn't like her. It was purely work." The fact that he chose to hide it is the real issue. To me, that kind of behavior shows a tendency to be unfaithful, or at the very least, to be dishonest in a relationship.
Then Guang Ming says, "But I pushed her away when she kissed me." Bro... that's not the point. The point is that you HID it from your wife. You had every opportunity to tell her what happened and explain the situation, but you chose not to.

★ I feel like both the husband and the wife are trying to hide their burdens from each other while ignoring all the signs that their relationship isn't okay. The wife recognizes the problems and tries to address them, but the husband seems more concerned with showing only the "ideal" version of himself, which I find quite selfish.
★The wife literally supports every decision he makes, but you can't blame her for feeling confused and left out when she keeps finding out important news from other people instead of from her own husband.
★ I also think they both have a tendency to hurt themselves in an attempt to protect this "perfect" relationship. But the whole point of being husband and wife is to support each other through both the good and the bad: emotionally, financially, and in every other aspect of life.
★ A relationship where you only want to show your partner the best side of yourself isn't built to last.
★ Love and sweetness alone aren't enough to make a relationship last.

I don't see divorce as a regret. Sometimes, it's an opportunity to learn, become stronger, and be more honest with ourselves and the people we love. (๑•᎑•๑)

My Thoughts So Far (After 2 Episodes):
✦ It's a great start.
✦ It's chill, cute, and somehow heartbreaking at the same time.
✦ Great acting, great chemistry.

I totally understand why I Jae "hates" Woo Subin. If something like that happened to me, and the guy who "ruined" my dreams, expectations, love, and future suddenly appeared right in front of me, I'd be SO pissed off. Especially when Woo Subin shows up acting all cheerful and carefree. Bro... are you even serious?

At the same time, I also understand that Woo Subin wasn't obligated to stay with I Jae. They were never officially together in the first place. They were just teenagers, immature, trying to figure out their feelings, and holding on to uncertain promises. --> He simply wasn't in a position to bet everything, including his future, on I Jae at that point in his life.

But back to the main point... after all those years, the way Woo Subin approached her so casually and acted as nothing had happened? Yeah, I 100% understand why I Jae reacted the way she did. Also, Woo Subin... we're living in the age of technology. You're telling me you couldn't even find a way to reach out or apologize for what happened all those years ago?

I'm just hoping they take their time rebuilding the relationship instead of making them fall back in love too quickly, especially after being apart for so many years.

Same... this side of her pissed me off so much. I do support her wanting to stand on her own and work her way through the power struggle by herself, but she kind of forgot that relationships are built on give and take, understanding, and communication instead of running away from problems.

She clearly knows that the Crown Prince has saved her life multiple times, and I think that alone should carry a lot of weight. I don't think understanding or forgiving him would make her "weak." She's smart, and there were so many ways she could have handled the situation. Yet, after everything that happened, she still refused to understand the Crown Prince.

If the power struggle is what scares her, then marrying another prince isn't really a better decision either. At least this time, she knows the Crown Prince's "weakness", that he hid his identity. But she never seems to consider all the effort he's put in, his background, his sacrifices, or the reasons behind everything he's done.

Also, I still don't understand why Shen Xihe's influence on her personality feels like only 10%, as if she only inherited Shen Xihe's memories, while the remaining 90% is still Gu Qing Zhi. There's one episode that confused me so much. When her older brother arrived in the capital, she was nervous because she couldn't remember what he was like. She only remembered bits and pieces, so she even asked her maid about his personality and preferences. If this is supposed to be a "merged soul," then this feels like a plot hole to me.

p.s. I've only watched 15 episodes so far, so I'm hoping the later episodes will answer my questions, especially about the whole "merged soul" concept. They really nailed the emotions tho, bcs I could feel the female lead's "coldness" and the "fear" in the male lead's eyes.

I almost dropped it after Episode 1 because I'm kind of skeptical about the rebirth plot. I've watched so many dramas with this trope that the first episode was a bit of a turn-off for me. Also, I don't know why, but Episode 1 felt super rushed and was kind of confusing. Thankfully, Episodes 2–4 get much more interesting. ˙ᵕ˙

As for why it's getting interesting:
- There are a bunch of new characters, so there are a lot of moving pieces.
- You're constantly trying to figure out who the villain is, their motives, and who's really behind everything.
- Some of the twists are genuinely unpredictable. I thought the story would revolve around the princes, but it turns out so many other people are involved.

I just wish they hadn't used the rebirth plot and had simply let the female lead shine on her own instead of making it seem like she knows everything because she was given a second chance. Like... this girl is already smart, even without the rebirth. Let her be fierce because that's who she is, not because she's become a different person after getting another chance. (imo)≽(◉˕ ◉ ≼マ

I just hope the plot keeps getting better because, so far, I'm really enjoying Episodes 2–4. --> I'm on my way to episode 5. ૮ ྀིᴗ͈ . ᴗ͈ ྀིა
