I was pissed when the main guy got all mad about her pursuing her dream, or at least an aspect of it. I thought that was the whole point of HIS character arc was to try to atone because he felt guilty she couldn't attempt to live out her dream. Like I get the whole puppy-love thing but he waited like what 10 years just for the CHANCE to talk to her again and now that they are together he cant seemingly wait half of that? The trope only works realistically when people are starting college not when they're already in their careers, for drama reasons of course.

Yeah so much of the, "main progression" is tied behind a work deadline, for how ambiguous as that sounds it does feel like the two leads are just going through the motions. We'll see what happens next.

She actually takes responsibility in the shareholder meeting, in a very corporate manner of course. All of what you said wouldve still occurred, the article just accelerated the case. A Jeong still wouldve testified against her and the 2ML in the shareholder meeting. She still wouldve been demoted because thats simply how corporate scandals work. It still wouldve been seen as a cover up. And again I must ask, whats wrong with a man taking care of his girlfriend? Do you truly think that reporter wouldnt still make an article about her staying at a hotel and try to twist it? Was she stupid for covering the pharmaceutical scandal up? Yes everyone sees that but that has nothing to do with how the ML chooses to treat her now. Also the 2ML still becomes president so idk how you think shes helping her enemy because its clear she doesnt hate the 2ML more-so the corporate lifestyle. Shes not a baby, shes just loved and she managed the scandal how she thought fit, she managed it with the hand she was given and didnt throw a hissy fit demanding her boyfriend to step in.

If your girlfriend is receiving unwanted attention, it is your duty as a boyfriend to make sure it doesnt happen again. Yes he needs to take care of her because he loves her thats kind of how a relationship works. He successfully reduced the amount of paparazzi from dozens of people to one guy who he didnt even know was following them. The result? ONE PICTURE, instead of her words being twisted in a more malicious way. Also, what resulted from the picture? Nothing, she got punished for sweeping the VP scandal under the rug not dating a co-worker. You suggest that she'd be alone in probably her most vulnerable state, that tells me all I need to know about the relationships you have been in, they were not successful. Hindsight is 20/20, soap doesnt kill 100% of bacteria only 99% that doesnt mean we shouldnt wash our hands. That doesnt mean we should leave our partner in times when they are vulnerable. You demonize lack of effort not the result of good effort.

Two questions here, so what if she knows? And so what if the reporters know? The damage has already been done. A Jeong has no dirt on them anymore she got what she wanted. Also I have to say, if that's the conclusion you came to then all I'm going to say is that you seem like you have never been in a relationship before. With all due respect.

Pretty sure the main guy still has his USB with all the info on it, but the activity of her deleting it does spark some questions. And also the transfer of the dude to another team directly before the investigation could truly take place does also spark more questions

After episode 9, why even have second leads? Are they just called that on here because theyre getting paid as much? VP's story is so uninteresting, the main duo solve PM cases episodically while mixing in romance, ok easy enough to understand. What does the VP do? SML is like James Harden on defense he's just there to fill the player count. Im just saying this because there seems to be a good amount of screentime for the other two but the story they have goes nowhere like its not even corporate nothingness that we got in the first two episodes. Do they introduce the melodrama part? I dont think so? SFL is just the SML's secretary and her only role to the story was to cockblock him from the FL so good on her part but now after episode 9 shes going all scorched earth for fun it seems.

TBH I dont think the second girl lead being the one who gave the anonymous tip is the villain here. You know why? The plot demands the main two to be a couple. Hell she did us a favour. The only purpose the other two could ever serve is being hurdles to the main two. Spite is a very strong motivator and i hope she uses it to keep that guy away

how did you come to that conclusion from this series?

i've seen 4 and big picture is I guess the two people on the cover idk what you've been watching but everything else feels so small in comparison. Yeah the VP has his issues and so does the company as a whole but they're not as significant. If thats the story you're referring then fine I couldnt care less about that either.

Episode 7,8,9 and maybe 6 are like an anchor to this show's online ratings. Can't convince me otherwise

Honestly, if you binge watch it might be fine. Note that this was a weekly released show and some outrage could be related to waiting

Omg this just hit me, in story, she spent more time on dates with her boss than time in court/legal process. Not even a periodical visit from a social worker until last 2 episodes.

I think a lot of people have issues not with what is shown but how it was built up. If the court plot point started earlier, like episode 8 maybe, and then they had to prove they were fit parents the rest of the series while still going through all the workplace/life stuff they both went through then it probably would've worked. But unfortunately I'm not a writer so what do I know.

Unless I'm misremembering, the scenes she was "reminiscing" about weren't actual flashbacks right? They were new scenes made for that scene right? If that's the case, boy did the writers not plan this properly.
