Ragtag found family of mostly misfits team up to save their small town from chaotic elements. The WONDERfools is fantasy so the characters have abilities while Heroes Next Door has regular people using the little army experience they have to figure out why accidents keep happening in their town. The comedy is on point in both, but also with a lot of heart.
Both explore the relationship between two people who met as teens, and how their relationship evolves over the years and is affected by life happenings. Once We Were Us is a remake of the Chinese movie “Us and Them” which I’ve heard is even better

The genres are not exactly the same (Murderer Report is a psychological thriller while Vigilante is an action thriller - and heavy on the action) but I found they were both asking the same questions. Both are also very solid watches.
