I only watched the ep1 and I'm stopping here,I only decided to watch to check the fl skills, I've seen multiple criticism on her acting online,so I decide to investigate.. it's my leisure time so why not
The only time I've been impressed by an actress in a quirky romcom is my love from another star, Mr Queen and this drama(because I thought she couldn't pull it off so well)...the FL is talented in this aspect...if you understand the tone of this drama then you'll understand how difficult it is...there are very few actresses that can pull off this role so well, pulling off a quirky romcom without coming off as cringey is not easy by any means,the tone of the drama matches her acting 10/10...the pacing,overdramatic writing affected her character's performance. I just learnt something new, the performance of actor can be affected by other aspects of the drama, it's like putting a cover over a light...in reverse aspects of a drama can illuminate an actor's performance. No wonder there're actors that shine in one drama and then seem mediocre in another,I guess being a director is not easy. Of course this is just her performance in ep1...I know the director and writer is not going to deliver,I'm motivated to continue.byee✨.
I truly felt ep1 was a 10/10,it was just missing something the director isn't putting in place, however by the 2nd half of the episode I'm now suspecting someone must have made changes to the script to make the next episode a must watch... Netflix definitely had a hand in this.
My criticism lands on the DIRECTOR,a quirky romcom is not his field,the key plots moves too fast, when the tone of a drama is unconventional, The key plot shouldn't be...the editing of episode one is not good. I don't know who has the final say in the plot progression but no experienced writer would go from quirky/funny moments to a boss girl intro to solo detective agent to life treating situations and back to quirky moments in 20mins!.
They should have spent more time with her in the hospital, then showed more of the villager's interaction because it felt empty,then at the end they introduce her background...we would be curious to know who she was. The writer can write the story but the director has to tell it... he's not a good story guide for this drama . The beginning was giving my love from another star energy. It's either the director and writer missed or changes were made.

In the entire movie,she was the only one that made me emotional,her character was irritating as hell.... As for logically thinking,it was practically non existent in the entire movie
Why didn't they just knock the guy unconscious???he keeps broadcasting your location in a life and death situation and you leave him conscious after multiple successful attempts.
I can't believe this movie has a high rating,they butchered the characters...zero logical thinking,zero character development. I honestly didn't care about anyone because the writer gave us nothing!,monotone characters with dry dialogues.
I was convinced the writer was a newbie...but one thing positive is... it's has quite a few good jump scares and cast are top actors everyone likes,I just watched it and felt angry.🥱
What a horrible thing to say, you didn't type this out of concern for the baby because she's 36... instead of wishing good health to the child and safe delivery to the mother,hope the child isn't deformed is what to comment??? Also,a 48yrs man isn't allowed to have a child even if his wife is 36??

Now this is a compelling plot, really hope the writer does justice to this and not make it a surface level writing,it has so much potential...if it's really good,I hope it turns seasonal. I'll watch the first 4eps👌.

Coming to see the rating drop so much speaks more about the viewer than the writer...A LOT of viewers don't pay attention to what they're watching. I'm not a fan of the tone shift of the drama but seeing comments that's basically dragging the quality of this drama makes me wonder if we're watching to pass time or actually paying attention. The sfl was literally seducing her boss, moved into her ex boyfriends house, became slightly territorial when she knew her ex likes the fl and we're just discovering her character is a villain. The recent episode of this drama doesn't take away the quality of this drama,for those who are thinking of watching pls do... this drama is literally one of the best drama of this year.
