Strong start, weak in the middle onwards

This was an interesting watch that shed some light on the MeToo movement. Here are some good and bad things I like about this drama; I like that it has a good and strong start that allows viewers to see that what you see is not what you think. Our protagonist is the "imperfect victim" ZS. She is the young 25-year-old Sr.Assistant to the antagonist, Boss Chen Gong. ZS got her position because the boss likes her, he woo her and chase after her because she is a beautiful girl. With that said, she does everything with him; accompanying him to company dinner hangouts and drinking with men. She is young, naive, and inexperienced. This is by no means saying that she is stupid because she is not. Chen Gong is powerful, rich and is the boss at the company that ZS works at; he likes her beauty and promoted her to Senior Office Assistant (which is a position that usually takes about 5 years to get to), but for ZS it only took her 3 months after being an intern at the company; she was promoted through her connection with the boss and plus he likes her. He gifted her good luxury brands, like clothes, a company suite, and purses. Throughout the drama, ZS is unapprehensive about being alone with Chen Gong. On the night of the r***; she drank heavily at the company dinner and got drunk. Chen Gong took her home and laid her on his bed; she even told her she wants to go back to her house. He ignored her words, and instead took her back to his place. On that night, Chen Gong's bodyguard follows them and makes an anonymous call to the police that ZS is being raped. Police arrived at the scene and the drama begins from there.

At the very beginning, ZS is in a complicated mess and contradict herself between her visions of truths. I like how the drama is good at showing that not one version is the truth, and also good at showing literally what is the "Imperfect Victim," and its meaning in the drama. As the plot unfolds, ZS became a victim of her voice and treading the line of her words against his (Chen Gong's words). To sum it up, I like how the drama starts off strong, with good acting, and the ending song was nice too.

LinKai played by the actress was good and her delivery lines were amazing!!! She definitely knows her craft since she's a veteran actress. Chen Gong is also played by a veteran actor and he played it well. The captain policewoman was amazing!!! Basically, all the older actors played great here. ZS played by Jelly did a good job too. I saw her in one drama, and here she really improves her acting. I also like KangHui and YinZhang.

What I didn't really like is that this drama was longer than it needs to be; because it was draggy from the middle to the end. In some episodes, it seems like filler, and the plot was slowly moving along. I think YinZhang's gf plot was too long to tell; although I can see why it's in there. Other than the drama being too long, overall it was good. 7.7/10.

Definitely watch this drama with an open eye, and trust the process.

That was interesting!!!

I got curious and checked out this movie because I always find sporty car looks chic and cool lol. I always like to imagine how awesome it would be to drive one, and how fast I can go :).
Well I checked this movie out, and it was nice to see the drifting scenes and how they make drifting looks so effortless. The roads in the mountains look pretty cool to drive cars on too lol.

Anyways, our MC Takumi lives with his father, Bunta and he also works at the gas station. He once delivered tofu for his father on the popular mountain roads, and that is where he gradually learns how to drift and drive fast on that mountain. Then he once crossed paths with Takeshi, who is one of the street racer team leaders. Takeshi took an interest in Takumi and seek him out. Once Takumi makes aware of who he is, he starts to set out to race with Takeshi and Ryousuke (who is another street racer leader-aka Edison's Chen character); and then Takumi races with this "professional" guy and he won.

Takumi also has a childhood girl that he likes, and they soon began dating. Then, Takumi friend's saw that his gf went to a love motel and is a cheap person. Well, Takumi just left his gf without hearing her side of the story. That was shitty because she must have her reasons why!!!??? I think the plot did her character dirty by not giving a reason why she ditched him.

Well, Takumi broke up and then he join Ryousuke's team. The End.

Love the drifting shots; if you're into drifting, and the cars are pretty cool too....Watch this movie :).

Cuteness and fluff overload :)

This was such a cute and fluffy drama. There is no angst. There were some tiny misunderstandings in the name of feelings, but other than that it was a good and enjoyable watch.

I really enjoyed watching Takara and Amagi. They are just pure cuteness of fluff together.
I also like their friends, Tanaka and Kitori. Such good friends that ar supportive of their relationship.
The ending ost is very nice too.

Overall this is one of my favorite Japanese BL, like 30 years old virgin, and the other fluff ones.
Super cute and fluff. Such a cute high school romance between two classmates that are from different social groups, but they like and have feelings for each other :).

It was cute like it's name lol

I like this drama, it was cute and interesting. Also, there was some cute fluff in it so :).

The plot is about NuKuea, who is this rich boy that got engaged to Hia (ML, Zee's character). When they were young, their grandparents promised to have them get married. So, they were engaged since young. Hia is smart, handsome, serious and hot. Kuea is playful, cute, sensitive, and adorable. They're basically like brothers and friends.

One day Kuea finds out that Hia got ownership of his family's property and this makes Nuea become suspicious of Hia's intentions towards him. Nuea lives a double life of a good boy image to Hia, and an amazing artist at the club.

Eventually, Nuea finds out the truth, and they have a happy ending.

Also, there were some side couples like Hia and Nuea's friends to make the drama complex and cute.

Sum it up, if you like cute and funny; and some hot fluff this drama is for you.

Oaky, but not great

This short bl is about a chef and a guy that he met at the ocean. The chef specialized in making udon, and he meets a guy that sort of helped him to start his udon business; where it's next to the ocean.
An ex-boyfriend of Bada shows up and tries to create chaos. After every issue that Bada and Tommy faced, they come back together because Bada realized he misunderstand Tommy. Bada went to look for Tommy and they reconciled. They helped each other with their udon restaurant and the end.

Acting wasn't there for me, maybe it's the pacing or cutting scenes of the show, but I think something is off.

The song was catchy.

A glance of reality....

Story: Everything was good from start to finish, never a dull moment.

Characters: I really enjoyed watching FL and ML, and their interactions within each other and other side characters.
FL: She is a loving and devoted mother to her sick son.
ML: He loves FL very much from his childhood to the present. His love for her is like true love, he can love no one else.

Mr. Sheng and Shu Qin: The side couple here is interesting to watch. Shu Qin is a strong, confident, and kind woman. While Mr.Sheng is ambitious, strong, and decisive. They have good chemistry and I like watching their scenes.

ML's father: He is a strong and thick-headed old man. In the end, he redeems himself with his love for his grandson and backing down.

Mr. I Show Up when I'm Needed aka FL's guy friend: His character was frustrating to watch because he is like a delinquent. He causes trouble and doesn't have much going on. Towards the end, I see why he did the things that he does, and after all, he just wants an explanation for his injury. I wish they didn't kill him at the end :(.

It was a happy ending, an amazing plot that display human life and interactions. As humans, there are always ups and downs, and sometimes we all have to choose our battles, we win some and we lose some.

Side note: Just found out that this author is the same who wrote Goodbye My Princess and Siege in Fog. So go watch it if you are a fan of her previous works :).

Good, but can be better

I like PengXiaoRan from Goodbye My Princess, and her acting is good so I enjoy her acting here too. The plot center on PXR's character, JiuLing, and how she changes her identity to revenge against her uncle; aka the King. FL's uncle murdered her father, and on her wedding day; she tries to kill him but didn't succeed. The King throws her into jail and wants to kill her. As the plot thicken, FL came into contact with her childhood friend, the ML. ML and FL eventually team up and went on a quest to fight against the King. FL also has some admirers that help her along the way. One of the admirers was YunQi, the crazy obsessed ex-husband that FL was forced to marry at the beginning of the drama. Chile Ning, her maid's longtime engagement that she ended up being tangle with when she took on the identity of her maid (her maid sacrificed herself so that FL can get her face and get revenge). In the end, FL succeeds in overthrowing her uncle, and everyone has a happy ending.

Plotwise, it was a predictable plot. The acting was good. The beginning was good towards the middle but got a little draggy towards the end. Overall, a good watch and an interesting unfolding plot.

Would recommend it if you want to watch a strong female lead center drama, and she is not stupid.

This drama tells the story of Zi Jun, who divorced her husband after he cheated. It tells the story between four people, and how they experienced heartache, betrayal, and redemption. It mainly focused on our FL, ZiJun, who suffered greatly after her divorced. As a modern woman, like many house moms, she mainly focuses on her child and family affair. She didn't have a job, and she is a stay-at-home mom that lives a high middle-class life; where she depends solely on her husband's income. As the story goes, Zi Jun finds her life falls apart, after she finds out her husband cheated; and then she divorced him. After divorce, ZiJun struggles financially and along came our ML, He Han; who stood at the side watching her life falls apart after her divorced. At this point, He Han is dating ZiJun's best friend (Although it looks like He Han and Tang Jin never really officially say they're dating). He Han watched ZiJun, and slowly give her advice and help her. Throughout this process, ZiJun and He Han developed feelings for each other. ZiJun finds herself liking her best friend's "bf" and the story goes on to unfold everything. The drama focuses on friendship, family dynamics, and relationship. I love the mature vibe, and character development between ML, FL, and FL's friend.

Good drama for the end of the year 2021!!!!

I like to say that I enjoyed this drama from beginning to end. There were never a bore moments, and I enjoyed seeing the different relationships between all the main lead couples; from our main OTP Hashi and Shifu to Tilan and the Emperor, and ZhouYing and Zhoulu :), every one of these characters brings their charms and beauty to the drama.

Characters: Hashi-I love how Hashi is stubborn, but she never lies about her love towards her Shifu and she always wants to protect him and love him. I love how Hashi can fight as a woman and is seen as a strong woman.
Shifu: He is very prideful, loyal, and confident. He is truly someone that a King can rely on in times of war and support. I think he is somewhat of a complex character because he is conflicted between his love for Hashi and his loyalty to the country, and the king.
Ah-Xu aka the king: I think he is one of the best kings in Chinese dramaland lol. I love his friendship with FXM and his love for his first late wife and Tilan. He is a capable King that has a love for his people, and in the end; he surprises me when he went into battle himself and tries to save his beloved wife Tilan :).
Tilan: She was married to the King and she grew to love him after she bravely call the king out for mistreating her!! You go, girl!!!! I love how Tilan is sweet, kind, and never suspects anyone of bad intentions.
ZhouYing: He's a silly brother that you love to adore, and I didn't know that Hashi was older than him lol. He is good-natured, loyal to Shifu, and a good sibling to Hashi. I love watching his relationship with ZhouLu; how he cares deeply for her safety and well-being.
ZhouLu: She is just so sweet and kind.

Plot/Writing/Martial Arts: It was a predictable plot somewhat, but I love that it was not boring. The writing was good and it sets the tone for the drama. Wow, the fighting scenes were very good in this drama, I love how Shifu fights and the flying scenes were executed so well!!! A+ to the director, martial arts masters, etc. I really enjoyed the fighting scenes, especially when Shifu does his smooth transitions fighting :)!!!! Love Hashi's fighting skills too!!!!

Overall: I had really enjoyed watching this drama from start to end, and the osts on here were very nice to listen too; like always Chinese music is poetic and really speaks to the heart and soul.

So sad it ended, I feel like I just saw epi1 yesterday!!! Ciao and have fun watching :)!!!!!

Edit: We Deqing, the eunuch of the king is the sweetest old man!! I love his scenes with the king, and they make me laugh every time they are together. He will be a memorable eunuch in years to come :), cannot remember any other memorable eunuch like him :).

Cute high school romance bl

I'm not really into high school bl romance genre, but this one was an exemption. The story is told from the MC pov, where he is like an introvert or someone that do not like to make friends. He starts to explore and found himself befriend the smart, handsome and cool school president Da-On, and the cute stand-off keep to yourself Shinwoo. With all these new feelings of discovering who he is, he developed a crush on Da-On. However, Da-On is also exploring his own feelings and is having a hard time coming to terms with them. Eventually, Shinwoo step in and confessed his feelings to our MC, Taekyung. The story shares their moments with us on love, friendship, and how youngsters coming to terms with their sexuality and feelings. It is a cute plot with good acting, and it just melts you.

Who is the Worst of the Evil?

I really enjoyed this drama. It was full of suspense, and excitement, and each episode kept me on my toes.
I like how complex the main lead characters are, like for JM I couldn't tell if he really was going to turn to the dark side???

I like the dynamic friendship between Jun Mo and Gi Chul. They became good friends, and I believe that Jun Mo viewed Gi Chul as his friend, while he was undercover. Like JM can see GC is not a bad person, but he makes poor choices and chooses a bad life. When Jun Mo lets GC go in the last episode, I can see that Jun Mo cares for Gi Chul.

Most of the side characters were good, and I liked their performance as well.

I think the ending was good and satisfying. There really wasn't anything bad I can think about it like GC needs to pay for his crime, and he did that by wanting to kill himself, but JunMo killed him instead. Also, I think the wife was conflicted between Jun Mo and Gi Chul. I think she still holds some nostalgic feelings towards GiChul, which could explain why she never threw away the cross necklace that GiChul gave to her.

In the end, Jun Mo and his wife ended their relationship; kind of sad about it; but there's just too much so I guess divorce is best for them.

I like Haeryung and her bodyguard. He is loyal and committed to protecting HR. I wish they could have ended up together.

In the end, Junmo gets promoted and successfully completes his undercover task, but in the end; he is left with no wife and loneliness. He ended up befriending with GiChul, and in the end, he lost his friend as well as his wife.

So who is really the worst of the evil?????? Or maybe it's no one, that's for you to figure out :).

Overall 8/10. 9/10 for JCW and WHJ's bromance :)!!!!

I didn't expect to like JOY so much more that I did. The plot is great, writing is good and acting is wonderful. Everything makes me laugh so much. I like how our MC has chemistry with everyone that he encountered, from his FL to the small side characters. The story is good that I keep wanting more, after the end of each episode. I like how witty, funny, and intelligent the MC is. This drama has humor, action, and a very good plot that is not a bore. I would watch it again and highly recommend to anyone if you're looking for something that is humorous, action, and a witty and intelligent MC.

Could have been better!!!

I like TT1, but TT2 has a lot of problems. Sure this season 2 was supposed to be about their post-life after college, and it was nice to see how they navigate their life after that, but the unnecessary dramas were a little too much and there was just more angst than anything. The plot wasn't there, and we just see how they didn't really progress their adult relationship. For instance, Tharn got jealous so much and Type was still the same; really impulsive and gets aggressive fast. I understand that is just Type's personality, and he did make some progress later on, but the whole Fiat hitting on Type is just overdone. It was not ideal to see Fiat doing that just to break up TT's relationship. I think they could have a plot where TT went through their trouble by coming out to the public and having some people disapprove of their marriage; then using their voice to support LGBTQ? Like do something around that, but I guess the writer loves some drama!! lol. Overall, I'm glad I watched it during airing time because I would not be able to make it to the last episode!!!!

The meaning of the title is in the drama....JiuTian forever!!!

I watched this drama without no expectations, as this was my first bl lakorn. As I keep watching, I get involved with Tian's family drama and Tian's internal struggle with coming out and trying his best to please his family. Tian is a smart, handsome, and kind man to his family, subordinates, and loved ones. He is looking out for everyone's well-being; and much less for himself. Tian's mother-Madame Li loves Tian, and would do anything to help him succeed to become the successor of the organization. While her love for Tian for success is good, she also failed to see Tian as Tian, always pressures him to hide his identity, and refused to acknowledge Tian's true self. Tian's dad is the leader of the organization and he also pressures Tian's to become the successor and refused to acknowledge Tian's real true self.

Tian lives his life doing everything as his parent wishes---taking care of the family's business and organization. Then one day, Tian met Jiu on the street. Tian and his best brother/friend Yang (Tongtong's character) went to see a play, and Jiu saves Tian from the Japanese. Earlier than that, Tian actually saw Jiu in the street, making candy. He bought candy from Jiu :). Jiu's a poor man while Tian came from a rich family. Well, Jiu saves Tian, and their fate begins there. Tian seeing Jiu, he's already falling in love at first sight :).

Madam Li knew from the start when Tian was little, that he likes chinese opera play; and she forbid Tian from liking and watching chinese play; as she associates this with being different. She tries to hide Tian's identity. Madam Li soon killed one of the workers at her mansion because he knows about Tian's real identity. From one death to another, the killings keep going.

Everyone is trying to figure out Tian's identity- from Tian's stepmother to Ma's (a bad guy). Trying to destroy Tian so that he cannot become the successor after his father in the organization. Jiu at this time was working for Ma bad guy.

Suddenly everyone finds out about Tian's identity-More killing. Then some people die. Tian and Jiu live happily ever after, it's a happy ever ending after all the angst and misunderstandings :).

This is the gist of it all. Oh yeah if you like mushrooms, be sure to eat lots before you watch this drama; because your stomach might not be able to digest them later.

Happy watching :)!!!! I am 100/10 forever loving this drama. Highly recommend.

A good laugh

I watch this one with an open mind and I like it!!! There were some problems like how the dad is homophobic, and the OTP has to give in to the dad's demand; by giving him a baby so the dad can approve their relationship, etc. That was not good because the OTP could have made the dad accept them or not. I guess??

I like how Ton already likes Chon first when they were young, and it wasn't something like, "Oh, he is my friend and he likes me, so I will like him back......" not that thing where only he's the kind of man that I like, so I will only like him thing.

There were some good laughs among the friends; like Miriam and Chon's girlfriend. AiNi were delightful to watch as they bring light laughter and joyful moments to the series.

Overall, I would not re-watched, but I like it!!!!
