HOT ML ALERT!!! ROMANTIC KISSES AND MAKING OUT IN YOUR AREA!!!!

The plot revolves around our female lead (FL) and male lead (ML), and how they transitioned from being young and affectionate lovers to experiencing a tragic adult romance filled with misunderstandings. FL mistakenly believes that ML murdered her entire family when in reality, it was Z, a deceptive and unsuccessful man, who committed the crime. ML, on the other hand, misunderstands FL and her family, believing that her relatives were responsible for his parent's death and the ruin of his life.

ML and FL find themselves entangled in a war of emotions, with FL frequently losing and regaining her memories. ML initially treats FL with a mixture of coldness and warmth, making their relationship tumultuous. As is common in many love dramas, after enduring various hardships (such as ML nearly being killed and FL partially saving him), ML and FL begin to appreciate, care for, and love each other more deeply.

Gradually, ML and FL genuinely develop romantic feelings for each other. However, FL loses her memories, prompting ML to be exceptionally kind and promise eternal love.

Eventually, ML kills Z, the person responsible for FL's family's tragedy. FL regains her memories and harbors immense hatred towards ML, leading her to shoot multiple bullets at him. She then attempts to end her own life but miraculously survives. Similarly, ML survives the attack. When ML encounters FL again on the battlefield, they exchange a loving smile. The story concludes on this note.

The male lead's actor is widely regarded as attractive - HOT HOT HOT 🥵 . The End.

High expectations, but it was a letdown........

The trailer seems promising, but this drama's got some loopholes and it was a letdown. The suspense wasn't there, and it wasn't thrilling. I got bored after watching ep 3 onwards. There were a lot of boring dialogue and fillers. The drama could have been better if the script was better. I didn't understand why the need for the neighbor's character when she didn't do anything major in the drama, or no major explanation for the high school girl that got murdered. Or what's with the husband and his relationship with the high school girl. Also, no explanation for why the sister's dead. Like did she get killed or was she died by suicide? There were so many missing things and loopholes. It was disappointing.

Don't let the title fool you ;)

"The Ingenious One" is a story centered around YunXiang, an orphaned child from Luo Village that was brutally massacred, resulting in the loss of his parents, family members, and friends whom he held dear. Seeking revenge against the person or people responsible, YunXiang embarks on a journey. Along the way, he is adopted by a skilled wuxia master named Mr. Wen Mo, who teaches him ten fast move skills to defend himself against adversaries.

During his quest, YunXiang encounters Yanan, a disguised wuxia master belonging to the Lingyuan sect. They join forces and set off on a shared adventure. As they spend more time together, feelings of love begin to blossom between them. However, a complicated twist unfolds when it is revealed that Yanan is a member of the Lingyuan sect, which is a rival to YunXiang's Yuntai sect. Their love story mirrors the tragic tale of Romeo and Juliet.

Throughout their journey, they encounter various amusing and remarkable characters, including Mr. Jingbao, a skilled swordsman, Kanxiao, and Mo Bu Feng.

As YunXiang delves deeper into the history of his village, he unravels the truth behind the massacre and ultimately exacts his revenge by eliminating the prince responsible for the tragedy.

With their mission accomplished, YunXiang and Yanan restore peace to the world, and the story concludes with their happily ever after.

I was right there with them

I am a fan of Chinese pals in since the first one with
Hu Ge and Liu Yifei. I really like this one as well. I find the plot to be interesting and engaging. I feel like I was a part of the four main characters journey, and it was fun and sad to go along the ride with them. There’s no good without evil. The message of the story is to bring justice and peace to the world, and Tianhe did just that even though the consequences didn’t excuse him. I like the relationship and friendships between Tianhe, Lingsha, Mengli, and Ziying. They all have a strong bonds and will always be friends.

This drama is focused on our main ML, Tianhe’s and his journey to finds out about what happened in the past to his parents. It was interesting to find out that not always the demons starts the trouble, but it was the humans that got greedy and starts the war with the demons clan first. This story also teaches about being selfless and supports each other.

The ending was a bit sad because Lingsha passed away, and she didn’t find the cure to her illness. Her family members died early because her ancestors got punished for invading a sacred area. Her purpose was to find a cure for her and her family. Sadly, that didn’t happen.

Mengli - I like how she went from innocence to maturity. She went from a young lady to a strong sect leader woman. Each character all becomes stronger jj the end, and mature a lot.

It was a good Chinese Paladin 4!!! The cinematography, osts, and CGI were all good. Great castings!!!

I love this drama so much. The plot is amazing, never got bored with any episodes. The pace is perfect, move the story along well. The acting and relationship between CFT and SXR were eye-catching to see, and I'm always at awe whenever CFT looks at SXR; full of support and admiration^^. I also like how interesting Peking Opera is, and how I grew to love it as each episode pass by. This drama has great production in terms of acting, directing, dialogue, costumes, and actors^^. Everything is perfect. I especially watch this for CFT and SXR's relationship and it did not disappoint. Love their relationship/friendship and how they understand each other through their shared love of Peking Opera, support, and loyalty to each other. I cried, laughed, and will totally rewatch this drama again and again. It's one of my favorites this year.

Unexpectedly good!!!!

It is what it's titled is, A Journey to Love. This drama tells the story of Ruyi aka Ren Xi. She met the ML, Yunzhun and they embarked on a journey to fight justice for their country. In other words, they are both spies from different countries. Also, they both left their spy job and became nomads. However, they meet and go on a journey to fight for justice for their countries, and along the way they fall in love :). The romance in this drama is fresh, sweet, and lovable. It's not overly done, and it's just lovely. It's parental guidance or pg-13 at best if you will :).

I also really enjoyed the Power Ranger team in this drama between the brotherhood with Ning Yunzhun, Shisan, Yuanlua, Qian, and many more of brothers. It was a nice journey to see the brotherhood bond unfold as they faced life and death together, and their brotherhood grew deeper and loving towards each other like family.

The princess was an interesting watch, as she went from naive to smart and strategic. She is the MVP who improves her skills and improves her outlook on life as the plot progresses.

The ending was a little rushed, and it's an ambiguous ending; it was a happy ending since they all basically died and united together in the afterlife.

Overall, I say this is one of the best dramas at the end of 2023. The fight scenes were great, the cinematography was beautiful and the script was almost perfect :). 8.9/10.

Beyond my expectations!!!!

The plot was good and the script was well-written. I can follow it easily, without any confusion. I like the characters ZhangPin and LanJue; all they care about is justice and getting answers to why their loved ones are dead. I like how they work together as a team to support each other to reach their end goal. The interactions between them were funny, happy, and sad---when they lost trust in each other and parted ways. However, they came back and understand each other more.

I also like the side characters, like Mowen and Chan Cho; who were the friends of the main leads. ^^

I was shocked that the villain is Shulin and finding out about his revenge plot. I was sad that Shulien got his revenge, but he lost his best friend, Lan Jue, and himself. In the end, he's all alone. I'm upset that the empress dowager never admits to her wrongdoings for mistreating her own blood. She's more like an evil stepmother that is hungry for fame and power.

I also love the bromance between Lan Jue and ZhangPing :)!!!! Their bromance was so cute and makes me fluffy lol.

Yes, the cinematography, pictures, and arts were all beautiful and amazing to see. Love the CGI effect as well.

Definitely recommend it and will always be one of my favorite bromances to watch :).

If you love wuxia aka martial arts, you'll love this :)

I enjoyed watching this drama so much. The plot was good, the acting was great, and the characters were likable and unlikable to watch. This drama is about the MC, HuFei, who is on a journey to find out who murdered his parents.

The support casts were great too, especially MuRoFen; I like how the actor portray MRF and all the facial expressions were so good. The fight scenes were all done so well and amazingly. I love MRF's fight scenes the most, he really steals the show for all his fight scenes. (I don't know anything about wuxia or kungfu, but it was so captivating to watch MRF fight scenes) :).

HF thought that MRF's killed his parents, but later he found out it was this Tian guy. MRF and HF team up and eventually reveal the truth about the palace martial art tournament and revenge for HF's parents.

HF also has an unrequited crush on purple dress girl, but she promised to beocme a nun so their ship never progress :(. Although he did revenge for her because her "dad" is a POS.

HF also is a good friend of flower poison girl and she likes him, but HF only treats her as a sister :(.

That's about it.

I didn't know I ended up liking it so much!!!

I really like the OTP and the story!!! It was beautiful. Mao ZiJun and Ian Yi portrayed their characters so well :)!!! I really like the bromance aspect of how caring they are towards each other :). The plot moves fast and developed their relationship well :).

I also liked the second pair, Boss Yu and Zhang---Zhang loves Boss Yu, but not enough to save him or want to be with him :(. They were doomed, to begin with :(.

I love the main girl character :), she is so sweet towards the guys and loves her supporting their love :). She's one of us :).

Overall, I recommend this drama, and I miss it!!!! Would watch it again!!!!!

Good watch, entertaining!!!

This was my first drama watching Timmy in the historical era. I'm a fan of Timmy, so I watched it mainly for him^^. As the drama developed, I started to like the Crown Prince and he pulled me into the drama. Crown Prince acting was great, and he really came off as a real crown prince :). He drew me into the drama and I like his story with Talented Wu. The acting was amazing and every actor did their part so well.

Acting: All the main actors and side actors acting were great. I find that the emotional scenes were well articulated and delivered. I cried when the FL cries because she expressed her emotions like so real, and you cannot cry but sympathize with her. The Crown Prince was one of my most favorite character; the actor's acting was beautiful and really sold himself as the crown prince; his every actions, gestures, and mannerism is shining through like he is the real crown prince himself---I cannot help, but admire the actor's acting as the crown prince. Talented Wu was great, and the actor did a great job portraying her role as the wise and compassionate Talented Wu :).

The main leads, FL and ML delivered their role well, and I fell in love with their chemistry and characters; how they act together in a scene; and that came out funny and beautiful. I also like the adopted father's acting and the friend's acting too. It's nice to watch that FL have a team of family support with her :).

Plot: The plot was good and predictable. I find the Evil Attire to be silly and not scary. She is just greedy and selfish; so she wasn't a strong antagonist; but still, she added some dramas into the plot----and it was nice to see her downfall.

Overall, I didn't get bored watching this drama and I would watch it again for the comedy, and the Crown Prince :).

Never a bore, plot moves at a good speed.

What can I say, I enjoy watching this drama and the plot is quite interesting. This drama tells the story of Niaoniao; a daughter of a general. She is like your modern girl who is sharp, witty, and carefree.

FL Niaoniao and the ML Ling Buyi meet each other; and ML falls in love first. They have their bittersweet moments, but eventually, they become engaged. There are some cute moments and chemistry; like when Niaoniao helps clean and fix ML chest injury.

I also enjoy the family dynamic here; how the king treats ML like his own son. The king raised ML and kind of allowed ML to do his own thing, without punishing him; as long as ML doesn't go overboard lol. Although he did kill someone without the king's consent (but I think he did the right thing).

FL Niaoniao and her family are fun to watch; she has three siblings. She is a twin and has two older brothers. One brother is away at the front line; so he hasn't shown up. Niaoniao relationship with her father is sweet; I like how her father tries to be understanding of her; knowing that she was raised away from the home. Niaoniao and her mother don't really have a good relationship, because her mother expects Niaoniao to act like a lady; well; her carefree attitude since young and never being taught to follow rules; makes her mother always criticize Niaoniao. But, eventually, their mother-daughter relationship improves over time.

End of ep 28 Niaoniao and Buyi are getting ready for their wedding :).

I was fooled!! It was good!!!!!

I got bored so I watched this, and it was good!!! It was unexpected towards the end. I was rooting for Te!!!!!! This plot tells the story of Tharm (Phuwin's character) he went to the temple to look for his big brother. His brother, Tee was ordained as a monk at the temple. Well Tee went MIA, and Tharm went to investigate what happened to him. Then that's when things start to get creepy and not make sense. This drama shows me that there's good and evil, even at the temple. Or like what you see is not always what you think it is?????? I had fun watching it :)

Don't ever go into watching a republican era expecting Happy Ending!!!

It was good and consistent. It's about ML-Beichen and FL-HanJing. He likes her first and they went from enemies to lovers. There were a lot of ups and downs in their relationship, mainly because they don't have trust and understood each other. Eventually, they forgive and come together.

I love how Beichen and his friendships or brotherhood with WeiYi and Dou are so good, they would fight and love each other. They especially love and look up to Beichen because they care for him a lot. They are very good friends since young, I really enjoy watching their friendship.

Beichen dad and mom were good parents, and I was sad when they both died :(.
I'm glad HJ killed that ugly woman (who is obsessed with her love for Beichen)!!! She is a horrible antagonist!!!

A lot of deaths and sorrows in this drama, so watch at your own risks and grab some tissues--you probably going to need them.

It was an open ending, and they both live happily ever after with their boy in my book.

Start off great, but slowly drag a little bit

I enjoyed the plot and the acting was good. What I didn't like was that the plot drag a little bit, with too many repetitive flashbacks. It was an interesting script with no telling what is going to happen, and how each twist and turn takes me by surprise!! I knew the husband was too good to be true; that was the biggest twist of all.

The plot started strong, then a little weak in the middle, and then it picks up strong towards the end. The relationships and dynamics in this drama were captivating, and it tells you how you cannot really trust anyone; not even your close friends or love. It really was like a trolley where it can go on and on until it crashed and destroyed everything in sight. Exactly this is what the plot sets up to do, and it delivers it well.

I cannot stress enough how much I love this drama. From the plot, acting, script, and directing-Everything were done beautifully. I actually didn't care for this drama, because I read before that there was a lacked of romance. So, I didn't care for it, even though friends have suggested to me to watch it. So, I watched it when I ran out of my romance dramas, and boy was I hooked!!! I was in for a ride! I love the plot so much, and each episode keeps your in your seat. I just love how intriguing and hooked I was with each twist and turn. Not to mention, the lead actress is so beautiful!!! Even though there was not a high volume of romance in here, that was not a problem at all. The plot is just amazing, with revenge and everything in between. Watch this, you will not be disappointed!!!! I would definitely watch this again and again.
