I HATE HOW THIS FAMILY BELITTLE ABUSE SO MUCH FOR THE SAKE OF KEEPING A LITTLE POWER. I hate how they want to turn a blind eye on the worst things their in laws have done to innocent women. It makes me so angry I want to cry

Decided to give this a go after a long hesitation. First drama I watch with Jing Tian and she is gooood. Currently at episode 5 and I am about to go crazy and crash out so bad.

I liked half of it but then NOT ENOUGH ANGER!!! Where is the anger??? So many things happened that could totally make this drama stronger (emotion and plot wise). Where were the anger? Many characters have been through a lot and tbh, in their stead, I would have crashed out badly but they just move on like they weren’t hurt in the slightest bit. WHY IS NO ONE ANGRY? It’s such an essential emotion for a revenge plot. Nobody was angry. Only I was angry.
Anle was not angry enough, Wen Shuo was not angry enough, Anning was not angry enough, even Cheng’En was not angry enough and it was so unfair for her, Han Ye only drowned in a maze he created himself to justify his self-pity. LUO MING XI WAS THE ONLY ANGRY ONE 😭😭😭 And that’s why I loved him so much and went through this one for him. I really disliked any scenes with Han Ye and Anle because it felt hopeless (and I LOVE BOTH ACTORS SO MUCH but in this one, naaaah LMX would have been better for Anle). Unfortunately, Han Ye's character was too weak for me

I was really annoyed by Xiyang when she was in Susha that I considered taking a break from watching this drama or skip all her moments BUT THEN I CRIED FOR HER EVERY EPISODE SHE APPEARED IN JINXIU. 😭😭😭 I didn’t even cry for the leads but this girly got the worst, I love her now

S/O to my girly Tianji. I loved her so much, a strong-willed princess who doesn’t want to be sheltered and protected. She just wants to face trials together instead of always being kept in the dark, what’s wrong with that?

This drama was so real. Many caracters feel like they have been played and betrayed and they act and feel accordingly. Many people will say it’s draggy and will complain about how some caracters act but the truth is their action and behaviours are all the consequences of what they have been through. I guess it feels draggy because it highlights their emotions a whole lot so it feels real. Eventually, everything felt justified.

Also, MingYi and Ji Bozai have been through a lot. Do not lack patience and understanding when watching because the way they act (unilaterally, a lot) and behave are all consequences of all the things they have been through growing up.
MingYi sure grew up in wealth but has always been emotionally neglected and had to win no matter what. That was her fate. She never felt safe to love, to be honest and to be true to herself because she has been taught to suppress all feelings. Hence why you are annoyed at "how she lied and leaded on ML" which I get. MING YI DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO BE LOVED 😃
Ji Bozai has wavering trust. He also needs a lot of time to figure out things and his feelings.
