I'm impressed w/ how well-behaved that cat is. Also, the lighting is so good for no reason lmao.
TLDR; I watch for romance, which was a bit subpar tbh. Acting is really good, and all the characters have good chemistry. Music is honestly pretty good but overall for me, good enough for a single watch.
Story: romance plot is a bit standard ngl. Some parts I was like eugh, but it's alright. The last 10 eps were testing my patience a bit bc it felt like filler story- and romance-wise. There's some comedy, some sad moments that hit a bit hard, but it's mostly a serious show. This emperor is the least relevant to the plot, and I think that's so funny af tbh.
Acting/Cast: the romance does have good chemistry between the actors. In general, the acting doesn't seem forced, and fl is a literal goddess when she smiles and even when she's sobbing--like how is she so conventionally attractive bro.. the part that rlly sold me was the whole body-swap subplot that made me love the acting in this. I would also like to point out how good Xu Kai's smirks are like whaa
Music: rlly good tbh. There are a lot of bangers I would listen to again.
