no matter how many good current dramas I have I still love watching old dramas from time to time i recently finished…
Something About the One percent knocked my socks off in a good way.. everytime the world will feel too dark,I will rewatch to remind myself that humanity is sane
The fact that I watched them back to back is shocking even to me..There are tough dramas but too good to feel…
You couldn't be any more right..It was an emotional marathon..My next drama was a friend's challenge/punishment called "Shine On Me" I wanted to cry several times, not from it but from the fact that it felt like I was in a PhD program and was sent back to do a highschool diploma.. Torturous
Rating is always subjective. For a crusty old salt like me, doubly so. ;) Mooohaha
I made it out alive.. Final rating 8.0 for the HD cameras and Song Wei Long's hair gel, I need to know whats brand kept that hair in standing ovation for 36 episodes

If I had remembered seeing this review and its glowing endorsement, I could've saved myself 21 episodes of emotional labor.
"The writers delivered the goods in the end. If anything, it was sugar overload. You could bottle the last 6 episodes and call it a day. If I ever rewatch this series, it would be those 6 episodes."
See? Valuable information. Life-changing information. Information I clearly ignored.
But apparently I'm serving some kind of sentence, so skipping ahead is not an option. We suffer properly in this house.
Honestly, this drama should've been called "Shine On The Slow Motions." Every other scene feels like it's being sponsored by the slow-motion department, and not a single person would've questioned that title choice.
Anyway, I shall return when I've completed my mission. If I don't,send snacks and patience.
May the Drama Gods watch over me during these difficult times.
Seeing that glowing 9, I had a feeling Secret Love really worked for you! One of my early K-drama loves, and still…
The fact that I watched them back to back is shocking even to me..There are tough dramas but too good to feel any brain alignment..Back when writers perfected the skills and showcase their talents for the world to be mesmerised
I haven't seen a 9.5 on these streets in a while..My heart is full.. This is was a gem, I loved it way too much.. I haven't been able to get Ji Sung's acting out of my head...he is stuck in there
Just finished Kill Me Heal me with the two leads and I feel like it's a continuation even though it's older than the former..I will report back...
A few two days later.....
UPDATE: Completed: June 1 2026 Rating : 9.0
Cleared this so fast like a plate of Topokki.. The emotional range Ji Sung gave us in Kill Me, Hwang Jung Eum completely matches it in Secret Love. These two had such insane chemistry in all their emotions , either they are having a screaming match or making us feel like we are interrupting something we shouldn't. Honestly I they could have gotten married in real life, nobody would have questioned it. Imagine doing two projects together in a span of two years..and showing up..(**yes I know they are/were both married to different people)
I will for sure add it to my list..the reviews are speaking
