Thank you for sharing the link..I enjoyed it a lot.. finally something sweet and different
Whenever I find a vertical drama and I keep scrolling up .just know that the actors leads are good,I don't care about the plot(they are always the same) or the side characters..
Yes..get past the Ship scenes then you will understand why it's rated 8.4 on MDL ,7.7 on IDMb and 7.7 on Prime, which…
The political part of this drama is a different.. These two are chess players..that's one way I can put it.You will find yourself literally going wow..they start as enemies then realise they need eachother and both their missions are actually intertwined..ZJY will blow your mind in this one..I have seen at least 3 of her work but I love her in this .Def of a badass female lead.. And you know Chen XingXu is absolutely brilliant actor and out of all the dramas of his I have watched, this was the best..He has that natural flow to him. Yes 7.7 IMDb rating for a Republic Era drama is no joke..even 8.4 MDL for a RE drama is quite high..
Exactly right, for me it's one of my favourite modern dramas that actually keep me want to continue watching themNGL…
At least she has had some main roles..her co-star Sun Shaolong has not led any project since To Be With You..he just does supporting roles..And the way he is extremely talented breaks my heart
I tried to watch it last week. I loved the 1st episode but then second episode was really boring. Do you think…
Just to clarify, I was responding to your comment where you advised people not to watch the show. My original comment wasn't about your review.
Most people understand that some Chinese dramas are made to promote China. We might agree with some of these, and disagree with others. And honestly, they have every right to do that! If my country had the money and had the power, I'd do the same. So, if "Meet Yourself" fits that description, I don't see a problem. Viewers can decide for themselves. We watch what we enjoy, learn what's important, and ignore what isn't.
Many of us watch dramas to relax and escape from all the noise in the world. We don't want to be policed by side PSAs constantly shouting don't watch this, it's "propaganda," "it's not inclusive," "it's sensitive," or other social mambo jambos. If we wanted that kind of pressure, we would have stayed in Hollywood.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying "Meet Yourself" is perfect. But it was made to tell a story, and given its high IMDb rating (8.1, which is tough to get) and audience score (4.9/5), I think it did a great job achieving its goal.
Aslice of life, light and love as a healer
Sometimes that's all we need.

Do you know the name of his last drama "Trap for your heart" here on MDL?
