Calm down, my friend :) I don't think they will ever get together because scenes from the next episode that was shown included one that JJ was talking to his grandpa about YY, and he(grandpa) was telling him how hard her life had been. A man that truly loves someone would not leave her, especially if he knows that she's a widow and not married anymore.
Regarding the despicable mother-in-law, she has always hated YY because of her poor background. When her son and YY came to tell his parents they were pregnant, the mother told YY outright she (mother) would never accept YY as a daughter-in-law, and she never did. She treated YY as a servant in their household instead of a daughter.
YY's character seems too submissive in that household because she has no support. Her husband is dead, and she still chooses to stay in that family because she doesn't want her daughter to experience the loneliness she experienced when her parents died. The grandma takes good care of her, and the father-in-law is kind to her in his own way, but she has no voice in that household. If she does, why would the stupid DS drag her away from JJ and insisted she was married when she's been widowed for five years? I wanted to slap him so bad😠
I think it's the grandpa that would fix the misunderstanding between them. Let's wait till the 19th for the next episode 😊

I was just telling my bestie yesterday that most of the casts are in their thirties or older. I like that a lot in most traditional dramas. What's up with the Fan family and their in-law pinning the revocation of the PG on Bai Lui, why does the whole world want this poor girl dead. It's is bloody miracle she survived this long!

I hope its not. Today's episode was quite promising with JJ saying he was Mi Rae's dad. It really made the little girl happy :) What's up with that pathetic shameless always sowing the seeds of discord whenever she's alone with YY. I almost slapped her through the screen, I was that angry!

My sentiments exactly :) Bai Lui needs a little bit of fun in her life after so many escapes from death. I'm really enjoying all the cuteness.

I hope the YY and JJ can resolve their misunderstanding created by that fool DS quickly. They are both suffering for nothing :(

It gets better in ep. 11 & 12. When a very strict person starts acting out of character, you know a stronger force has captured his heart :)

It's easier say that done. His love is kind of one-sided because Ye don't like him like that since they were in Yebei. It was Rui that had a crush on him. What's up with the commander of the Covet guard too. I think he has a thing for Bai Lui as well, based on the scene when he was watching her room from outside. It seems so from so from his expression :)

I'm so loving this drama. I think the emperor has sub continuously fallen in love with Bai Lui with knowing. When a guy wants to know what a girl does every minute and smiles sweetly on hearing about her or thinking of her, you know Cupid has completed his mission on him!

I think Bai Lui activated it with the ingredients she poured on the ground. Because when she dived underwater, she didn't see it but the stone at the center.

And why is that? I kind of like him always being the second lead except in one of his 2022 drama released a couple of months ago where he was the lead and uncle to cute Xiao bai. He's like the best friend you have that the relationship is meant to last forever as just friends. That's how I like him :)
