Sometimes you must not judge a book by it cover. That is exactly the situation of drama. The synopsis is badly written and it is confusing people that would have taken 26 minutes of their precious time to watch. I think it's worth watching.

The synopsis is incomprehensible. So, don't bother yourself. Watch the drama and you will understand what the drama is about. Enjoy!

I agree with you that MZ is really bad because of what they made him do as a child to his own mother. Unfortunately, what kind of adult do you think a child like that would grow up to be? He does not value human life or relationships. The only person he cares for in his life is his ninth brother and because as a child his brother showed him he (9th brother) truly cared for him. Nonetheless, the second prince still takes advantage of that brotherhood. He's still a despicable person that would do anything to achieve his goal. People like that are worst than scumbags!

I spoke too soon. I should have known my ML can't die just like that :) Now I'm afraid what his brother would do to him in ep 28. He's reaction to her leaving was kind of shocking in ep. 27. The hug! If I don't know better, I'd take him for a loving compassionate husband that cannot bear for his wife to leave him for a moment. This is the same guy that threatened a girl to marry him, giving her three days to decide if she would be a concubine in his palace or a dog there. If there is only his kind of love in the world for women, I would join the nuns at the temple and dedicate my life to serving God!

This drama is so messed up! Xiao JQ met with the soldiers to avenge her brother, I thought she was going after AR's brother. Unfortunately, it's the ninth prince (my favorite gentleman). Now, she's really going to die once the 2nd prince found out what she did. It's so sad he too had to die based on the first 10 years before the rebirth, but he was sent a poison drink to take his own life during his house arrest. Now his brother's crown princess killed him to avenge her brother, how interesting!

Color Hu Fei stupid, even the blacksmith that met them once could see that Lingsu really liked him. Sometime men can be so blind because I know he cannot be pretending not to be aware of her feelings for him.

I quite agree with Firefly88 that said the fighting scenes are epic! I don't think I have ever seen martial art so beautifully performed. Even though I like cheesy romance dramas for the fun of it, once in a while I leave my comfort zone to enjoy other genres. Aside from enjoying the fights, I'm truly upset about the support role given to Miao in this drama. Even if he wasn't the sole main person, he could be one of the main characters since he has a significant part from the very beginning of the drama. I don't understand what else is required for a character to be one of the main characters especially when the whole martial art world wants him dead. That's my only conflict with the writer of this drama ;)

This is a very interesting drama. I laughed a lot. Imagine a beautiful name like "Sabina" meaning "idiot" in another country, that was too funny. I enjoyed meeting my "Orchid fairy" in the Love btw the demon and the fairy, and can't really decide if she's more beautiful in traditional outfits or modern ones. I like her personality in this drama, she wants to make the fool that called her an idiot fall in love with the idiot! Too funny!

You and me both! I'm on ep. 19 and don't like what I'm seeing. DD treats her so call bestie with sincerity but her ex and so called bestfriend stabs her in the back all the time. That's why it always backfires on them whenever they take what doesn't belong to them. I'm glad she has LN in her corner.

MZ is a great character in this drama. But, absolutely hate him for all he's putting the LA. The sister saw through his hatred and torture as being in love with her. It is the girls, boys like, they bully because in this case, she is a strong-willed independent woman and that drives him crazy because she somehow makes him feel small. To him, she's too smart for a woman and she's always ahead of him. But, unknowing to him, this is her rebirth and she's trying to take care of her Lu family which she thought she didn't do in her original life. Unfortunately, everyone has their destinies and even if she somehow changes her own fate, she cannot change the fate of others. Unfortunately, what will be, will be.

He shouldn't have agreed to it. He was not really nice to him to begin with and always dragging him off. He was the most careful of the men, friendly towards women but never in any romantic relationship. The marriage was mentioned at the end of episode 9, so I'd have to see how he stupidly fall into her trap!

It might be the Chinese version for 2022. Since you've seen A Gentleman's Dignity, watch a couple of episodes of this one and let us know if is the Chinese version of the same drama.

@Maliya. You got me confused, none of them are married. There is the single dad AI guy that got in some else's room without knowing, the second is the chef that the head chef didn't allowed to make the steak, but he met and fell in love with a girl at the market, the third one is the ladies man that have a shop at the mall that sells brand name bags and vows never to get married, and the last one is the Boli University professor who is creative with his classes and can't get over is ex. In this particular drama, I find the guys rather funny with the life and love problems. In another drama (Lost Track of Time), the third guy is plain evil, vindictive, manipulative, and so on. It took me awhile to reconcile the two characters he's playing.

I agree with @deidra that said this is a very sad drama. Come on! I wish I didn't watch it. Who the hell is the writer? It's so annoying! How much sadness can a family endure? Even though life itself is not a bed of roses, we are given blessings to be thankful for. I mean, what kind of stupid fate is this? Ignore my ranting, I am just a little sad for the family.

My sentiments exactly, especially with his cave man mentality. Even if you want your to marry your girlfriend and start a family, there are better ways to coax a woman you love and get a win win situation. I am a woman and I will dumb his sorry behind in a heartbeat because of his personality.
