I feel so sad for her roommate. She never told her she liked a guy who says he was Cupid. She also never told her the guy took her on a date and disappeared right in front of her. Apparently, other side characters didn't have a happy ending aside from the main characters. Even the detective should have been given someone else, likewise the roommate. So, we can conclude that the story is good but not great.

I agree with your thinking. Qing can see now that her story now has a life of its own, with unexpected things happening that she didn't even write about. Even the mastermind of Feng's death is completely anonymous to her because it was not in her original script. There are so many changes to her script now that completely baffles her.
