how many series in asia focus on multilingual translator as the main lead,

but Kor/IT/FR/Eng/Chi/JP, I think this is the first time

the life of a translator is pretty difficult but sometimes very rewarding just like our main male lead
what are the chances, 0.000001% this coincidence can happen in real life, the reward is the male lead gets to meet his future partner. , a very unique story and that alone says a lot,

NOT UNTIL, after the climax which is Lake Louise,
goodness gracious that first 8 episode alone can be the whole series.

the story looks like a spin off of the first 8 episode,

CASTING
casting is good, nothing i can say about the casting , the hong sisters knows who to cast
if the first male lead choice of hong sisters was cast and played the role, i don't think think it fits Ju Ho Jin role and I don't think it will spark any chemistry with Go Youn Jung,


MUSIC
I don't want to talk about this because it's decent but it felt like we are missing something

Overall - its a good series
if you are into travel series just like me with a little bit of love for the scenery and landscape,
this series is for you,
if you are a fan of Kim Seo Ho and Go Youn Jung, this is for you

Luckily I am both but i cannot stand that the music felt missing on this series

Flip a Coin!!!

I just came across about this series, and it's been a while since I watched a 16 episode series that got me excited for a long time since Through the Darkness, Signal (original by both KOR ver and JAP ver), Queen Woo, Kings Affection, Kingdom, Code Blue, Rurouni Kenshin The Beginning Anime, Train to Busan, H2, Death Note, etc... judging by the series that i mentioned, I am very facinated with character build up, and I like it more with 16 episodes instead of 12, it has a good character build up, although let's face it, budget is not something i would like to discuss.

Let's start with the Story
Viva La Vida!!! can't get over that tag line, I think this series is on par with Entertainer with Tantara Band, the slow build and introduction to the characters is awesome, we get to see the life before the magic of 2 moons, at first, I thought they are in the same timeline, but later on the first episode, I noticed the color palettes and some grain on the video that's when I realized that this is getting interesting, there are some time travel series before, but this is a unique approach based on the series that I have already watched like the reporter, a journalist traveled time to make things right, the difference is that this one has character build up, with the right and strong chemistry casting, YML and YFL, YML chemistry here is much stronger than his last series my nemesis, YFL is a little but innocent than moon ga young, because I vividly remember Moon ga young personality on interest of love, link, inner beauty, YFL is right for YML. then the supporting ML and supporting FL kind a work, its a kind of role reversal support artist have more lines and less chemistry than the YFL and YML.

Supporting ML and FL has less chemistry than the YFL and YML.
YFL and YML has a strong chemistry and innocent high school feel specially the dreamy editing, no special effects just pure chemistry and acting

OST has 2 tracks that made the 16 episode looks natural
Higher and Shining ,
Higher is composed by an Indie band in future, Shining was composed by a high school band in the past
Higher, Shining, Higher
then a little bit of magical BGM during the 2 moon, nice touch

Should you rewatch, its going to be inside on my top 30, a definite rewatch
Top 30 for KOR and JAP series and movies, there is a lot more than 400, entering inside top 30 is no joke

A fun magical ride that can be enjoyed by all ages with lessons that can be shared to the family forever.

12 episode is short but it conveys the directors and actors perception of the story, eerie questions fly into one's mind

questions asked by the ML is happening in today's environment, even in South Korea, a very realistic approach on the story. The 5 deadly sins is also heavily conveyed into one worst of somebody (you got envy, you got greed, you got wrath, you got gluttony, you got pride).

Lets talk about the Cast
a good cast, each character held its own, never new that the SFL is her first drama in south korea, and she got the lines and looks, now the about the title, FL and SML, they portrait that the first love is to die for really well, ML conveys the character pretty well, and its happening on all police officers. Chief and the Violent Crimes Detective, an example of do anything at all cost, supporting role cast filled in the shoes really well,.

Lets talk about OST
OST is not the strongest part of this series, the ending OST is intense, the good thing is they did not insert any cheesy ost here
all business,.

Rewatch Value
Yes, this is one of the top 20 pyschological thriller genre of all time, globally
for south korea, its top 3, number 1 and 2 for me is still "I saw the Devil" and "Through the Darkness"

Has a lot of potential but got limited to a short story

Story:
The Series has a lot of potential but got limited to a short story telling. The first 2 episodes started in a high note then it did not sustain the impact of the first 2 episodes, probably writers direction? director direction? lot of possibilities some backend things affected the story telling. The series could go on to 8 or 10 episode, the backtrack is vague, the reason of the Female Lead is off timed at episode 6, there is no backstory on the parents, there is no side story on the foundation aside from the last 3 mins of the ending episode, after revealing a new principal, that's the only time the series got interested about the foundation. 7 episode is short and cramp, hopefully season 2 will be good, season 1 is just fair.

Acting/Cast:
Cast is strong, so there is no problem with the budget or not, because there are limited appearances of the parents in the series, Cast was not leverage to its potential. while on the other hand Acting, is somewhat Good - Fair , again limited based on the script and the director's direction.

Music:
This is an easy 5, not so much interesting on the BGM/OST

Rewatch:
the first 2 episode is a must watch, other than that a season 2 is needed.
