The son of the qi family almost got into an arranged marriage to Jiang ruoyao aka the daughter of ji shuran. Thankfully, her daughter declined because she has had enough of her "controlling"/"evil" mother. In the following episodes, ji shuran turns crazy due the wrongful things that she has done in the past which backfired to her (It was revealed that she killed the eldest daughter of the jiang family and jiang li's mother in order to marry into the Jiang family and become the head madam). In the end I think she's now guarding what i think is the tomb/grave of jiang li's mother? Anyway its was better to watch them yourself because its way fun and satisfying!
