Since the forum is closed due to inactivity for this drama, I will simply post here my visons of what should have happened. It would be better if they were both immortal couples.
I can see Sunny's life so sad, that she has just lost the will to live (IE self exit) and become a reaper. Wang Yeo 's continual violation of the rules, would keep him in the same job with his memory as punishment and they work together as a couple.
I can see Kim Shin living on as the Goblin with Eun Tak, whose name forever just disappear every time she has a death note because her life caused a clitch.. She wouldn't be able to really die but live on partially as a ghost and partially living because she is the "Goblin's Bride". The End
Love the bromance. These two guys really are the coolest. Episode 10 reference. 😎 I can understand the 9 year jump. I mean she was still just 19. But after the wedding, it is... just sad and messy. Not necessary. Maybe i should post a spoiler of where viewers should simply stop watching and the couple live happily ever after and nothing more. 🤔 It's 30 minutes before the end. I regret nothing! 🤣 It really is an awesome drama and the cast is unforgetable. 💕
True. But I love that this show does not go where you think it's going. Very unique. Also, when you think about…
We are forced to accept that people like that exist which is not a bad thing to accept. People like that exist. He is a coward. 😢 He lost the love of his life because he is a coward. There is just so many options than the one he choose. Today most Kdrama do have a happy ending. I havent seen any in which the SML is willing to end the life of the woman he claim to love to save his own. I have watched some classic Korean Dramas (1950's-1970's) and they often had tragic endings. Rarely any happy endings. I started to question the differences and the reason behind how Korean dramas have evolved. I always get the message that revenge is a bad thing, in most Asian dramas. Nothing horrible ever happen to the villians who deserve it in classic Korean dramas and current Korean dramas and the one who seeks revenge suffers even more. That is one consistent trope
Oh gees. I'm mad. I have not seen this level of betrayal since Prince Hans in Frozen. Man betraying the FL has a special kinda slap in the face. That woman deserved her revenge. The gods are cruel.
Rap music /rap/ noun: The most god aweful music ever invented. People talking down to each other with foul language. Boasting and threatening each other with agressive insults. Repeative dimwitted rhythm. Glorification of street culture, violence and abuse towards women as fun.
I think people write time travel stories but dont understand time travel. Often, somethings in time travel stories are confusing but we can enjoy the story by not thinking too hard about the details. It's a cute story with a happy ending. Dont think too hard about who the girl really is.
Can any one explain the symbolism of why Mo Qing Cheng is perfect in this drama? Is Gu Sheng sleeping, in a coma, or in her ideal heaven? Is Mo Qing Cheng an angel feeding people's heart, mind and body with all of his special talents? He's like a prince who help others like a servant. Did Mumu give a clue when he said "Qiang Qingei is a real man so he carry his love through to the end."?
🤣 Wtf was that? Who interrupts a live play to give flowers .~ I bet as she asked someone else to write the…
In your post: "From what I've observed, often women tend to like a man who's already committed or is with their friend. Somehow it's an approval that since their friend has approved or they like someone he must be worthy. It's a bit stupid, but it's true. You can check it out in your circle." I can attest that this is true. Not only for women but also men. However I believe it's due to the love that the person (women and men) have for their friend. They're not really falling for their friends boyfriend or girlfriend. It's misplaced attraction. In Christianity we call that coveting. It's better to sort those emotions out internally stead of mourning a loss of love or even going as far to cause strife with a friend. What ever happened to girl code, and bro code (dont date your friends ex) I dont know. I just dont think its ok even if your friend say they dont care. It's like robbing the friend of their past memories with someone.
I enjoyed this drama. Be prepared to learn some serious lessons from a cast of interesting characters. It has funny scenes but gets very heavily dramatic. It takes patience and close attention to detail before a suspense filled conclusion and end how it started. Think of it as a loving journey. 😍💕
I love Jeong Soon Won! He has made many romantic dramas rememberable and very heartfelt. I fall in love every time I hear his voice. That Winter, the Wind Blows (2013) My Sassy Girl (2017)
One word. "Scully"! 😍💕 She is the angel guide that we all need. I enjoyed all the various stories but I kinda wished the ML would fall in love with Scully.
