Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds is just a fun ride. If you are looking for a good movie to entertain you for 2 hours, CHOOSE THIS ONE. I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I came into the movie thinking it would be good given all the press and hype that it has gotten. What I didn't expect was how EPIC and large scale it was. I LOVED this movie way more than I expected too.

FIRST OFF, THE CGI IN THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING! It really just immerses the viewers in the story and the atmosphere of the movie. This movie would have been amazing to see in theaters. The opening scene even grabs you with how fast paced and beautiful it is.

The story was also highly entertaining and was action packed. The action scenes in this movie were beautifully choreographed and there was some funny dialogue thrown it during a fight scene. The story was magical and highly creative. Also the story seemed epic due to the music behind it. The music swelled and announced the action and was emotional during the emotion producing scenes. Some of the things in the story I predicted would happen but I still loved the story even though I knew what was going to happen. ALSO BE WARNED, you WILL cry during this movie. I cried so bad at a very emotional and sweet scene.

The acting overall in this movie was great but I do have to admit it was sometimes over the top and I cringed a bit but only at a few lines and one scene. I also will say some of the choices that the fireman made during the movie had me yelling at the TV because of how stupid he was sometimes but who can blame him with some of the choices, he is going through a lot in the movie. Overall, I think the actors chosen for the various characters showed range and growth. For me, I had only seen the Fireman in comedic roles and this was my first time seeing D.O. act and I was blown away by both of their performances in this movie. I was not expecting how good they were. My favorite Character was the female Deok Choon. Having her along sort of humanized everyone and I couldn't stop myself from smiling everytime she was on the screen.

The ending was so action packed and emotional and had some really good lessons. I will say this movie overall has some good lessons for people and how they should live their lives. The ending made me feel a billion emotions in 5 mins. It is hard to pick a favorite part for me in this movie because of the epicness that it was. It was just so creative but I would have to say the ending is up there because I was emotionally touched by it, I mean I did say I cried. Overall though You are in for a wild ride all the way through the movie between the amazing CGI, storyline, twists and turns and the emotional music and ending, you will never forget this movie and want to watch it over and over again

The only things I will say that I disliked about this movie is I sort of wish this movie wasn't done in 2 parts, let alone had a sequel at all! We all know that second movies might disappoint the viewers because it didn't live up to the first movie and I really hope that is not the case here. This movie does set up for the second movie well but at the same time I felt it was sort of a cop out on how the writers did it. I understand why the writers went the route that they did but going the route they did go, I couldn't help and think that they cheated a bit. I don't want to give anything away so I won't say any more. I am just curious about how the second movie will be received and if it can live up to the first one.

Wow I walked into this drama knowing it was a lot of people's favorite drama of 2018. I just thought it would be a crime and suspense drama but it was so much more and the so much more part blew me away.

STORY: On the surface, This is a story about a serial killer who destroys everyone's life and the people who pick up the pieces after but this drama is SO MUCH MORE IN DEPTH THAN THAT. This drama is about family and the family dynamic. It asks us the question of does blood make you family or can you create and accept your own? I thought that was powerful question written into every character of this drama. That question is what makes this drama beautiful. What makes a family? Who makes a family? Does being related by blood make you family?

CASTING/ACTING: With such a harsh subject matter, the acting and casting for this drama was perfect! I heard about some of the other actors and actresses who first were given the option of being in this drama and turning it down and I am glad about that. The Main Leads were just perfect for the role and I can't picture anyone else playing them. They were so expressive with just the way they looked at the camera and each other. The actor who played the serial killer father should get an award for this performance because he played the part perfectly. Just his presence on screen created this aura that was undeniable. All the actors played multi-layered characters so well and expressed their emotions so well in a highly emotional story.

MUSIC: Loved the music. The music that played whenever the serial killer was on screen or when there was tension in the storyline made the tension and creepiness that much more. It was perfect!

REWATCH VALUE: The only reason I probably won't rewatch this is because my eyes hurt from crying so much haha

OVERALL: This is just a beautiful drama overall. It has so many layers and depth to it from the story to all of the characters. The cinematography and questions this drama asks are just breathtaking and everyone needs to watch this drama. Get your tissues out though because it is a doozy to watch.

Of all the History season 1 stories, this was my favorite. It wasn't that it was very unique, there are a lot of time travel plots out there in dramaworld but I thought this had a nice message where even if you try to change fate, it might not work but also fate may change to help you out as well. I am trying not to give anything away (sorry of that is vague) but you will understand when you watch this. I think this plot also ended on a very good note too. THAT ENDING WAS SO GOOD!
(again you will know when you see it)

The main couple in this story have AMAZING chemistry. I thought they were very good together and showed lots of connection and emotion when they interacted with each other.

The music was good too. It didn't lend itself much for the story but it was sweet and had a nice touch in parts.

I WILL TOTALLY WATCH THIS AGAIN AND RECOMMEND IT TO OTHER PEOPLE!

Well I have watched 2 of the episodes of S1 of the History series. I have to say I liked this one more than the MY HERO episode. Even though step brothers developing feelings for each other is nothing new, I thought these episodes did it well. It was a mix between forced co-habitation and close friendship turning into love with a little of polar opposites attract concept. The story was a nice and light concept that never gets old.

The 2 actors had great chemistry and I actually got more invested in these episodes than I thought I would. The actors had some great scenes together that showcased their chemistry and probably had all the viewers rooting for their relationship like the best friend did haha

I also thought the music went quite well with this episode. It was nice and light just like the drama and played at the crucial times where you needed music

Definitely will watch this one again.

Romance + Video Game concept...what could go wrong? The answer...NOTHING!

I actually just finished watching this drama for the 2nd time and I loved it as much as I did the first time I watched it.

STORY: I am a lover of video games so to have an entire drama with this as a part of its story...I’m all for it. The romance definitely is the reason why people watch this drama but the video game theme doesn’t hurt. It is like this drama is telling 2 different stories. One story within the game and 1 story in reality which keeps it interesting. The video game scenes are beautifully done. I also like that the male and female lead both have brains and beauty because it doesn’t fall within the usual tropes of a lot of Asian dramas where the female is portrayed as a damsel in distress. One downside is that I feel like the same characters who create the initial conflicts for the main couple because redundant by the end of the story because coming from a viewers perspective by the middle or near end of the drama, the main couple has no reason to break up or have conflict so for these “rival” characters to butt in again and again was a little annoying but I remembered that from the first time I watched it as well.

ACTING: I have to say the actor playing the male lead carried this drama. I didn’t like or dislike the female lead but I definitely preferred the male lead which was the same when I first saw this drama. If it wasn’t for the male lead and the supporting cast, I probably would have dropped this drama the first time I watched this drama...this drama is the reason why I like Yang Yang so much.

MUSIC: I like the main theme that played when the main couple were together. It gets into your head FOR SURE!

REWATCH VALUE: Since this was my second time watching this drama...I would say it has a HUGE REWATCH VALUE FOR ME! It is just an easy and sweet drama to put on during a rainy day.

OVERALL: if you are looking for a light and romantic drama with good chemistry, an unique theme and great CGI...THIS DRAMA IS FOR YOU!

I am pleasantly surprised by this variety show. I thought it had a very interesting concept. Usually you see reality shows that show how it is to work as models or actors but I think this is the first reality show that allows the viewers to see what a photographer does when he/she is working.

Story: Obviously since this show was not a drama, it didn't have a story but I liked the concept of the show. The guests learned how to use a camera and got pointers from a professional photographer. Then they went to Paris for a week and got small challenges to complete. All of these small challenges taught them skills that all the guests then used in a final BIG challenge. I thought that was very unique and a nice concept.

Acting/Cast: Since the variety show had many different guests with different background it added to the flavor of the show. You got to see the celebrities interact but also you got to see their personalities through their thought process and pictures. I liked that part the most about the show because no 2 pictures were the same.

Music: It was ok...didn't really pay a lot of attention to it.

Rewatch: I would totally rewatch this if I needed something to watch on a rainy day.

Overall: It was a nice and relaxing variety show. It showed the guest's characters and perspectives both creatively through their pictures but also their thinking and how they attacked the different challenges given to them. I liked it because it had a competitive aspect but also you just got to see Paris and learn a little more about each guest.

As I have said before (in my God's Quiz Season 1 review) I AM A SUCKER FOR EPISODIC CRIME DRAMAS! and this one is no different lol I think it is because I grew up watching shows like CSI and Law and Order but every time I find an episodic crime drama, I drop everything else and binge it (no matter how many other dramas I am watching) and this one was no different.

STORY: As I just stated, this is an episodic crime drama so if they aren't your cup of tea, DON'T WATCH THIS ONE! One of reasons I like episodic crime dramas is because there is a new case every episode, you don't stick with 1 story for very long. If there is 1 storyline in a drama and you just aren't feeling it, you may drop the drama or get bored...not with episodic crime dramas...every episode breathes new life into the drama. Now my ONE gripe with this drama is I felt that the last case of the drama, which I think lasted the entire last 4 episodes, did not have to take up 4 episodes to complete...I thought it dragged a bit and could have done perfectly well with only the last 2 episodes but THATS IT! The story was never dull and always kept me guessing which I loved.

CAST: I thought the cast had good chemistry and I liked that there was not any romance in the drama. It was refreshing...SO people is you are someone who needs romance in any drama you watch, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! I thought the acting was well done. The actor who played Dr. Qin was spot on which led to a lot of comedic parts and I loved the other cop and his assistant. The three of them together worked very well together.

MUSIC: Don't remember much about the music

REWATCH: I would probably rewatch this again because it is short and I can watch 1 case in a couple of episodes and not have to watch the entire drama to get satisfaction from it.

OVERALL: This drama hit a lot points for me. It was a good and satisfying episodic crime drama which is always fun for me. Yes I had that one gripe about the writing but that is minimal...Watch this drama if you like crime dramas...Oh also WARNING: If you can't handle blood, surgeries, autopsies and things like that, this drama isn't for you...there are some graphic autopsy and crime scene shots (didn't bother me but just a warning.)

So I almost didn't even watch this drama but it just so happened, when it started, I didn't have a lot of dramas to watch so I went ahead and clicked play...I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't at all what I was expecting. Sure it had flaws and some parts got boring but overall it was a sweet and cute drama.

STORY: When I first started watching this drama, I just thought this drama was just going to be about employees at the airport but BOY WAS I WRONG! The writers really took me for a loop and threw in a lot more than I expected. Now I am not going to reveal the huge secret of the storyline because you wouldn't need to watch the drama but I still want to talk about minor storylines, which is why the spoiler alert is in affect. One of the downers of the drama was some of the storylines introduced in the drama. I didn't think some were necessary and some even overshadowed the main lead's story. I didn't see the point of the entire gangster storyline. I think it just added unnecessary angst and I felt like it didn't need to be there. I also felt that some of the storylines were dropped halfway through and never picked up again such as the whole thing with the main lead girl's father...We still don't know much about him. I also don't understand why we didn't see the main male lead at the end of the drama...what was the point in that. Not that it made the ending disappointing or anything, it was just again unnecessary. I also think it could have been less episodes than it already was...maybe like 12 or 14. The drama started out as a workplace drama with a light feel but gets bogged down by unnecessary angsty storylines.

ACTING/CAST: I think the best part of this drama was the characters and their journeys/growth throughout the drama. I also liked that it wasn't just the main leads that had interesting storylines and growth but the supporting cast also had it. I think that made me love the drama even more because I grew to love the support characters as much as I loved the main leads. Granted I will say, I was more invested in the main leads separately than together...not that they didn't have chemistry or anything, I just liked them separately and how they grew separately throughout the drama. The security couple were cute as well. I LOVED LOVED LOVED Lee Je Hoon's character in this drama and his acting was amazing! That man can put so much emotion on his face, even if it is just in his eyes. I loved him in this drama. He was my favorite.

Now there were 2 characters that I absolutely hated and still sort of hate even when the drama is over. I HATE HATE HATE Lee Dong Gun's character. I saw no reason to make him so mean AT ALL! I also was not fond of Ro Woon's character. Maybe it was because I absolutely loved Lee Je Hoon's character and he was just mean to him too. (Let's be honest, I was watching this drama for Lee Je Hoon haha)

MUSIC: I loved all the OSTs of this drama...listening to them on repeat.

REWATCH: I probably wouldn't rewatch the entire drama again but I might choose scenes that I loved to rewatch

OVERALL: This drama is just a warm and cozy drama to watch. A relaxing drama to turn on after a long day because you come to love the characters and the characters really make the drama special. Don't need to take it to seriously, just a nice relaxing drama with loveable characters and a unique storyline.

I have been wanting to watch this drama for a while and I finally got around to it due to it being October and of course Halloween...I was not a perfect 10 for me because there were some issues but overall, I liked the drama a lot. It was quirky and fun with a spooky concept perfect for Halloween and Fall.

Story: As I said above, if you like ghosts and creepy scenarios, this is the drama for you. The first half of this drama has some great ghost scenes. I also like that this story also has romance and comedic elements because I think it rounded out the story quite well. One issue I had was that it seemed as the drama progressed, the ghosts disappeared...which was disappointing to me because I was watching this to be scared and with the second half of the drama, I really wasn't scared at all. I wanted the episodic ghosts to be more relevant in the second half of the drama but I understand why they sort of disappeared...BUT STILL! NEEDED MORE GHOSTS!

Acting/Cast: To be truthful, I watched this drama because of So Ji Sub. I heard he was great and I heard right. For me, He was the best actor in this drama HANDS DOWN! I loved him and his interactions with the character Tae Gong Shil. Now the actress who played Tae Gong Shil wasn't bad either but I did find her character to be annoying in some parts. The character I liked the least was the model, Tae Yi Ryeong. I thought she needed to grow up and not be a child for most of the drama. She annoyed me a lot (a big NO NO in this drama) Lastly, I thought Seo In Guk was good in the drama. He didn't wow me but he wasn't horrible either. I did like his character's interactions with Tae Yi Ryeong. Oh and another small thing, there was this support character, the other security guard...HE HAD SUCH AN ANNOYING LAUGH! I COULDN'T GET OVER IT! I know it is small and weird that I would concentrate on that but I just couldn't get past that.

Music: I loved the main OST that played when the 2 leads were together. I thought it complimented those moments well and it was memorable.

Rewatch Value: I would watch this again...Probably fast forward to my favorite scenes but I would watch it again

Overall: Another huge issue I had with this drama was the number of episodes in the drama...I do not think it had to be 17 episodes long...It felt very drawn out in the middle and17 episodes seemed unnecessary. The problems/storyline that were being drawn out in the second half of the drama could have been resolved in 14, 15, 16 episodes EASILY!! Other than that. I thought this was a very entertaining and fun drama filed with ghosts and romance...I loved how it ended! Be sure to bring the popcorn and be scared (at least in the 1st half of the drama).

I was looking for a drama to watch on my commute aka a drama that had short episodes which is when I came across Splash Splash Love. I am glad I found it. It was a just a cute mini drama to pass the time. Sure it had it flaws but overall, I liked it a lot.

Story: The story had unique timeslip concept which I had never seen in another drama before. I liked that the male lead's character was actually a guy from Korea's History because it did some educational stuff and connected some characters to actual people. I thought that was unique too. I also liked that the past and future were somewhat connected both when the female lead was in the past and events that happened in her own time period. I thought that allowed the story to be nicely tied together at the end. One thing I thought the drama didn't need was a bad guy....I get why the bad guy was put into the drama but I really didn't think it was necessary. The story was nice and fluffy and good without a bad guy.

Acting/Cast: One downfall for this drama for me was the female lead. I didn't particularly like aspects of her character. I thought she could have been acted better either by that actress or another actress. I did think the female and male lead had good chemistry though so that is a plus for me. The male lead I LOVED! I will probably check out some other dramas of his.

Music: Don't really remember much about the music.

Rewatch Value: Probably won't rewatch it

Overall: If you are looking for a short drama that is very satisfying and has some beautiful cinematography...This is the drama for you. It is just a cute and fluffy drama where you can't help but fall in love with the characters and story. Definitely had some comedy and cuteness.

This review is exactly what the titles says...If you are a fan of Kdramas and watch a lot of them...You will enjoy this drama. If you aren't or if this is your first one, I would advise you to not watch this one, go watch others and come back to it. You will find this drama much more entertaining after that.

STORY: This mini drama actually has a pretty unique story! I was quite surprised by that because it is pretty creative. This drama is basically a BIG OL' PARODY of kdramas...So it has every trope UNDER THE SUN in it...between drunk girl carry to catching the falling female lead to evil woman trying to steal the male lead and so on and so forth. Which is why, as a AVID drama lover, I found this drama (parody) to be hilarious!

ACTING: The acting could have been better (very wooden) but I think that was the point. Since this drama is a parody, the over top acting fit the parody perfectly! I thought the acting added to the charm of the drama.

MUSIC: It was a good OST! Very memorable...again surprised that I paid attention to the music with this drama since it was a parody and all.

REWATCH VALUE: I would watch this again. Since this drama is super short and just makes fun of kdramas, I would have fun watching this again.

OVERALL: Watch this drama only if you have seen other good kdramas before or are an avid kdrama watcher...you will find the drama a lot more charming and hilarious. You basically watch this drama for a laugh and creative story but thats about it...Doesn't mean that this drama is bad in anyway just comparatively, it is unique and sort of has its own category...AND THEY ANNONCED THAT THERE PROBABLY WILL BE A 2ND SEASON!! So that will be fun

Over all I thought that this drama was a light hearted and easy drama to watch. I definitely had some issues with it but overall I quite enjoyed my time while watching the drama and looked forward to the next episode.

Story: I thought the story was lighthearted and warm. It did seem to be rushed at some parts and unnecessarily drawn out at other parts. I feel like this could have been mended if it had 16 episodes to work with and not 12. but overall, it wrapped up all the major points (granted some of the story lines were left behind) by the end of the drama. I wish the story had gone more into the witch's world but I guess that couldn't be done with only 12 episodes. The story also had a lot of comedic moments which I loved too.

Cast: The casting was good. I thought each actor played their character well. The 2 main leads had good chemistry together and definitely encompassed the feelings and characteristics of their character which led to some very funny moments. The main couple had some really romantic moments too which I wasn't expecting so that was great! The side characters were good too. The second male lead was just lovable and cute (sort of checked out this drama because of him but fell in love with all the characters eventually) and the 2 grandmas were hilarious! I thought the character of the secretary was a little over the top but it didn't make me hate the drama. I felt this drama lacked character depth and back story but I think that was due to the drama only having 12 episodes to work with...WHY DIDN'T THIS DRAMA GET 16 EPISODES!!

Music: I thought the music fit the drama and the vibe the drama had. As I said before the drama is light hearted and the music had that same persona. I thought the music fit the drama well. Nothing memorable but the music and the drama fit together well.

Rewatch Value: I would rewatch this drama on a rainy day if I didn't have anything else I was interested in. It was a refreshing, light hearted and quick drama to watch. I fell in love with the main couple, which I wasn't expecting to do so I would rewatch it for them

Overall, as I said I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and easy drama to watch. It is cute and light hearted but don't expect anything deep. I thought this drama was quite enjoyable and I thought the witch aspect of the drama was really unique.

So from reading the reviews already on this movie (after I actually watching the movie of course), I guess I am in the minority where I walked into this movie blind. I have ever seen the Japanese version. I saw the trailer for this movie and was intrigued but had no idea what was going to happen. I am glad I did though because what happens in the movie was a huge shock to me (not spoiling anything)

I thought the story was really good. It was very refreshing and just showed a family who was living and cherishing each other. I was not expecting how it ended for SURE! There is a huge twist which I thought was brilliantly done. I totally didn't see it coming but I liked that I didn't and I thought the twist really tied the movie together. The story is bittersweet but in a very heartwarming way. Definitely some comedy and one line zingers thrown in which just made the movie even more heartwarming. You will definitely cry at a few scenes too but I think that adds to this movie's charm and if you haven't read the synopsis, I wasn't surprised that I cried after reading that.

The acting/cast I thought was superb. So Ji Sub and Son Ye Jin were great together. They had a lot of chemistry and you really felt the emotions they were evoking...their acting jumped off the screen. You as the viewer rooted for them as a couple. Their counterparts, Kim Ji Hwan and Go Chang Seok added more to the charm, especially with the comedy. There are some hilarious scenes with Go Chang Seok. Kim Ji Hwan plays the little boy and he is just so cute throughout the movie and the one liners he gets in the movie are so funny. I thought this movie was casted very well.

The music in this was perfect for what was happening on screen. The music just supported the story and the cast so well, especially when it was an emotional scene. I don't think I would rewatch this again, unless I wanted to cry because I did cry in multiple scenes. It is just a charming and cute movie but definitely is sad and bittersweet at the same time. I would consider rewatching this though.

I would recommend this movie to people who want a love story with comedy and sadness....sort of like life itself.

JUST SOOOO SAD!!!

So as you can see, I dropped this show. There was a VERY BIG REASON WHY I DID IT...which will be explained below in the Story/Cast section of this review. But yes I did drop this drama.

STORY: Overall, the story wasn't bad. It had great elements and had A LOT OF MYSTERY to it which kept it interesting...The one thing that contributed to me dropping this drama is THE STORY WAS JUST SO SAD!! I knew entering this drama that it would be (don't get me wrong). You read the synopsis and know that it falls under the category of melodrama...BUT HOW MUCH SADNESS CAN ONE PERSON TAKE IN THEIR LIFE!? The writers just piled sadness and heartbreak onto Seo Hyun's character..so much so that iT sort of became unrealistic because I started thinking REALLY?! This is a major reason why I dropped this drama.

CAST: The other MAIN reason I dropped this drama was because Kim Jung Hyun had to drop out of the drama and get healthy (FOR ALL GOOD REASONS OBVIOUSLY). He was a major reason I was watching and enjoying this drama. He is AMAZING in this drama. His acting is unbelievable! This role was made for him. SO to hear that he had to leave early which would affect the storyline, I just couldn't finish the drama. The other actors were doing great too but for me, Kim Jung Hyun was THE ACTOR for me in this drama. I can't wait for him to get better and to see him in another drama because HE IS AMAZING AT WHAT HE DOES! To know that he wasn't going to be at the end of the drama and there would be episodes without him and that the writers probably had to change the ending because of him leaving, I just couldn't make myself finish it.

MUSIC: Don't remember much about the music

RE-WATCH: I will not try and finish this drama

OVERALL: If you are looking for a good drama with AMAZING ACTING and just crushingly sad...WATCH THIS DRAMA! I just could not finish it and usually I am fine with sad dramas and mysteries. The acting was AMAZING and the story was really building up to be good but IT WAS JUST SO SAD! Kim Jung Hyun leaving was the final straw for me. I hope he gets better soon because HIS ACTING IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!

It Had to Go!

I really wanted to like this drama! I loved the story and how the drama started. I thought it was going to be a very interesting show and better than another Korean drama that I won't name that I watched last year. I thought the fox mythology would bring an interesting aspect to the story, which it did. I love fantasy subject matter like that.

I whipped through the beginning episodes so fast. I just couldn't finish it. I think the story fell flat in the middle and sort of dragged on. I found that I was avoiding the show and watching anything else so I didn't have to sludge through another episode. It just didn't move fast enough for me. It seemed like the middle episodes had a lot going on and nothing going on at the same time.

I liked the main couple and their chemistry. I liked the passion that they evoked and I thought they portrayed star-crossed lovers well. I didn't like the whole ex-boyfriend and best friend story line, I thought that was unnecessary . I also loved the 2 males that followed the Male lead around. I thought they brought a lot of comedy and a nice change to the story and the cast. I did not like how PiPi always seemed sad. It got boring really fast.

I did like the structure of the episode where PiPi gave some commentary at the end of each episode. I thought that was beautiful.
