I actualy blame it all on the fixed ship system which led to fanservice in the first place. The bl industry as a whole has become such a money making machine bc of the fixed ships: by building a whole brand around them with mascots, merch, fan signs, product endorsments, promotions and so one. It has become so much more than just acting in a series and the more populare the pairing the more money they make, the more popular they are the more fanservice there is, the more they feed or delulu. I would also love some clarity like Yin did tere by stating that him and War will never bee boyfriends, but that breaks that whole money machinery, so that is why most actors don't do that (if bc for themselfs or bc of pressures by their angency is another whole seperate convo) that is why I admire what Yin did so much, he went against that whole shipping and feeding our delulu for good and that right befor they have a new show coming. The whole fanservice thing is why I realy try to avoid any kind of content where the actors are shown together and focus more on the series and characters they play and ship them! But yes it is easier said that done. That said, we are all capable of critical thinking and aware of fanservice and what is behind it, that we can come to the logical conclusion that for these actors, all of this, at the bottom of it, is work. We can at the very least self control ourself and not asume thinks when one actor is just out eating with someone and not start rumors about it and spread hate towards the actor! Just leave them be pls 🙏🏻

And they have absolutely every right to bc they don't actually own us any explanation whatsoever! I am so frustrated about all of it so I am venting here!

Also I can't believe I just now found out that this movie exist! I just recentely watched s1 and 2 and binged the 2 seasons in one go bc I couldn't stop. This was about a week ago. I thought s2 was the end and there were no more season or wahtever else around. S2 wrapped up their story fine but left me soo unsatisfied, I wanted to see more of them. They finaly seamed to be on equal levels of nderstanding each other in a deeper sense and I realy wanted to see how that would manifest in their daily lives and relationship going onward. Then today I saw an edit on Insta about man worshipping their man. There was Chiangyang worshiping Quinlang (A winter Sun), Fan Xia worshipping Shu Lang (To my shore) and some other I didn't recognise or don't remember but the last one and the OG worshipper of them all was Hira worshipping Kiyoi. (EDIT: Its this reel btw https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dc5-_quv3wK/?stkn=b2ZmNDh6Y291aHBu) And the editor used scenes of them I have never seen in neither seasons that I just recently watched. I was mad confused where those scenes are frome so I did some research and found out there is a movie !!! It was already 3:30 am when I found that out but there was now way I could have waited until the next day to watch it and there was no way I would have sleped at all at that point I hade to watch it imidiately so I did. And ooh it delivered on everything that I craved after s2 left me with wanting to see more of them. I could watch even more, I could watch their whole life unfold just them living it until they are old and all wrinkeli with Hira still taking pictures of Kiyoi like the obsessed cutie that he is. And nothing major like kiyoi beeing kiddnaped by a crazy fan (even though some action is a nice plus to have to see Hora going absolutely badshit mental while protecting Kiyoi) needs to happen at all and I wouldn't be bored at all. It is just the way those two are, their whole dynamic is so unique and fascinating and sucks me right in! Ugh I think this whole series has become my favorite series of all time! Now it is almost 6 am and I write this whole ass long essay about this .... Okey good night - or I guess good morning ...

Another ep watched, another week of utterly letting out my frustration on this series! It is realy only going more and more downhill from here! What do you mean we are almost all ep at the EXACT SAME SCENE we were last week! Them reapeting and repeating themself over and over again are seriously strenching my last nerve! It is a wonder how I got through last ep without skipping ahead but I couldn't for this ep, only way I can handle now is by skipping or 2x speed. Why is everything sooo baadddd 😭😭😭 I am so sad for BoatOat bc this could have been sooo good but the script and editing and the music is butchering all of the casts hard work! And don't get me started on Sangnue beeing painted as the bad one here! I don't buy it one bit!!! And also am I the only one who was soo annoyed at Phatsa beeing damn stubborn about confessing his feelings and Nahkun pushing for it even more! Wellit was cute anyways.

They don't deserve any redemption arc at all even if they are now accepting of Tinn and Phob.

Their dynamic is sooo unique! Hira worshiping Kiyoi to the point that he actualy doesnt want to understand him, wanting to be bossed around by him and not beeing equal so he can worship him more. And Kiyoi loving him for it bc all he ever wanted is beeing worshipped by fans. This kind of love they have is realy unique and kinda weirds me out a bit bc how can they be if it is not equal but somehow it works, they work it out and I feel by the end of this they find kind of a middle ground when Hira tells Kiyoi that he wants to be in the same world by one day becoming the fotografer who will take Kiyoi's pictures in magazins and stuff. Ugh I want more of them! This series was simply to short
