In Apartment Job, his character’s appearance is intentionally awkward. If you don’t like how he acts (which, btw, is ridiculous considering this man has won Scene Stealer awards) in a guest role where he barely appears, that’s your personal problem. But saying that his acting style is not good and that he should do better are nosy words coming from a person who has barely even watched him act in other projects besides the mainstream shows.
I would recommend you go and watch his movies with indie director Zhang Lu instead of bothering to comment under his profile, where people like you are praising him, not hating on him. He’s doing better in every role, including the one in The Appointment Job. His character there literally has anxiety issues, is scared of his boss, and was about to be sent to another world. What do you expect him to be ? talkative and cool? He barely even appeared in that kdrama… For a better understanding of how great an actor he is, you should watch his episodes in Taxi Driver, where he portrayed an actual company CEO who was a criminal and is now serving time in prison. Search for actual footage of that person and compare it to his acting, you’ll see zero difference. That’s how good of an actor he is… and read the Korean netizens comments about his acting too.
