The most heartbreaking moment for me was in episode 20 when they lied to each other about not lying to each other! I think this was a moment of truth between them and they both missed it. Now they truly are firmly positioned on opposite sides, and they’re going to go at a shattering speed toward complete heartbreak.
Can we fully appreciate Orchid’s determination to fight for her people and her bravery and heartbreaking honesty by adressing upfront the issue at hand that make any kind of loving relationship impossible between them! She was incredible! DFQC needed to hear it and to understand the full truth of it.
The first look at Tianjin mirror by DanYin, revealed what looked like a double marriage and I remember how unhappy Orchid was, adding to that that ChiDi will die at the hands of her husband, my theory is that DFQC will marry ChiDi and Orchid will marry Changheng as predicted by the destiny tree!
In episode 1, when they talked about the goddess of Xishan, there is a picture of a broken goddess statute with an orchid lying in her broken hand. I wonder what happened to our baby orchid in her past life.? It really is a quite nighmarish depiction of her. Since, allegedly her master saved her, may be they were friend in their past life? And I wonder when she will raise as a deity will Orchid remember this past and if she does how much will this impact her character and her relationship to other people?

Yes when he send his brother to go after ChiDi to deliver his army stcuk for 30000 years as statute, you could feel in both brothers that it was about their people being fred, not an army recovered❤️
One thing we’ve learned these past episodes is that opposedly to how the conflict was painted to us in the beginning, Cangyang Sea seems to have been opressed and persecuted by ShuiYunTian that wanted to completely conquer Cangyang Sea. And brought 10´of thousands of years of war among their people.
DFQC actions were motivated by protecting its people at all costs, not wanting to conquer new territories. And for’him, the only logical way to do that, when he was heartless, was to stop ShuiYunTian supremacy by annihilating them and taking over SHT. He was not a senseless monster on a power trip, in its own way his strategy made sense to him, it was the best way to protect his people.
