Just rewatched ep 2, and Orchid was able to use Hell Fire when she was inside DFQC’s body, so its exactly as he said in ep 14, making him feel wont make him lose the ability of using hellfire, but the ability of completely mastering it.
1.Poor boy has beeen in love for 500 years. 2.Had to erase the memory of his love because he knew that it will endanger her. 3.Had to pretend he didnt want her by his side to save her. when you can see in the first minute of episode 1, with how big his smile his, when she says she will pass the exam to be by his side, that he had waited for this moment a very long time. 4.Was waiting for his fiancee to make an apparition for hundred of years so that he could break offf with her and marry Orchid, when Orchid is actually his fiancee. 5.Broke his Orchid heart although he does not know it. 6.Since Orchid does not know the depth of their relation, a love that could have been will never be. All of that, and the tragic part of the story had yet to start, poor baby😭😭😭😭 I think he will end up as the tragic figure of this drama🥹

Positive, they just had a beef with the headset part of the immortal costume they found being of cheap quality, and yes, unfortunately Esther yu voice at the beginning. But seeing its starling performance in terms of rating and popularity, and praise for the acting especially dylan wang’s, set, cgi, ost, these complains appear to be long forgotten.
Me too and there was a beautiful song in episode 8/9 sang by Jing qlong & Jing Di That got me obsessed I have relistened to the 30s extract so many times I know the song by heart 😭🤣
