There was so much going during the first episode that I didnt pay attention to it on the first watch.
That would make the scene where XA &CX promised to become each other true "meimei" & "gege" makes sense, because I was confused the first time, being pretty sure that cousins already think of themselves as siblings.

They are different kind of love and what she feels towards YSQ is very fragile as of yet because she is traumatized and deeply scared in every sense.
While she is completely devoted to Xuan and his cause. She doubts everyone and anything but not when it comes to Xuan, as of now. Because she knows he feels what she feels for him.
I dont know why people love putting a relatioship above another.
the love she feels for each of them is different not less or lacking just different.
He did but not in so many words but with acts, and she knows too that he was a powerless kid who was banned away from his own country with assassins on his heels as well as listened to her dad that didnt want his daughter there in the middle of a rebellion that could cost her her life.
