I finished episode 7, and so far, it's going well. I didn't like how the prosecutor and the FL talk casually and are so friendly with each other. I don't like the second male lead trope in dramas either. Also, reaching the age of 36 without ever having been in a relationship is a bit odd. And being 30 years old and still being so attached to childhood memories is also strange, but I don’t dwell on these things. When I first heard the ML’s voice, I thought he was using it that way for the role, but it turns out it’s his real voice. I think it’s charismatic, and the guy is really handsome. Also, when looking closely, the FL looks like Ahn Eun-jin.
Did they get drunk by drinking alcohol in a military place? lol. The FL is a complete idiot. Also, wasn’t there any other actress to play this character? Li Zan is totally a green flag, and I think he will stay the same from the first episode to the last, so watching such a consistently good character can sometimes be boring. From the very first episode, it looks like the FL and ML are already flirting. Their relationship should have progressed more slowly. Also, Benjamin, the man you areeeee, he is so hot. The only reason I’m watching this drama is Benjamin.
When I first saw the trailer for the drama, I liked it and thought it would be a good series, but unfortunately, it fell below my expectations. There is no chemistry between the main characters; I wish a different actress had played the female lead. We saw the male lead in *Hidden Love*, and his character here is quite similar.
I don't know if Chen Zhe Yuan usually prefers these types of roles, as this is only the second drama I've watched with him. I can't imagine him playing a villain. The female lead constantly getting into trouble and Zan rescuing her… the classic *damsel in distress* trope. I don’t know if the whole drama will continue like this.
FL is not exactly a smart character. Okay, I understand that her job requires her to go to dangerous places, but in episode 6, she just jumped into a car and drove into a highly dangerous area. Plus, she easily goes in and out of military zones—like, seriously? Anyway, watching Benjamin among the side characters is enjoyable. It’s obvious he will have a storyline with the female doctor, and I’m curious about that. He’s a funny, flirty character, and even though he acts dumb at times, I think he’s a good guy.
Also, why did FL cry in episode 2? Puhahahaha. Okay, if Chen Zhe Yuan were standing in front of me, I would be affected too, that’s a different story, but girl, when did you even start liking him?
Anyway, 8.2 is way too high for the first six episodes. If it were up to me, I’d rate it a 5. I hope the upcoming episodes will be better. Also, Zan’s gaze is so beautiful and emotional.
