Alright, I've finished watching the entire series, and now it's time to share my thoughts. As I write this, fan-made music videos are playing in the background. First of all, Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo are perfectly suited for their roles. The way Xiao Zhan conveys emotions through his expressions and embodies the character is truly beautiful. He might have even become an actor just to play this role. I've noticed some negative comments about Wang Yibo, suggesting that his character's lack of expressions and dialogue could have been played by anyone. I disagree. Even his gaze was enough, in my opinion. I wish the show hadn't been subjected to censorship and that the relationship between Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan could have been portrayed as it is in the book. I want to thank the person who shared the link to the book; I'll start reading it tonight. I do have a couple of negative comments. Some side characters were given unnecessary screen time, and a few actors overacted in certain scenes. I considered that this might be due to it being a Chinese production. This is the second Chinese drama I've watched. I focused more on their relationship than the underlying plot, but unfortunately, there wasn't much more than implied scenes. In the book, they even have sex, but... anyway. A few days ago, I started watching the series after seeing a Twitter user praise it, and I'm so glad I did. Episode 46 is over and jiang cheng is still acting like a son of a bitch. When I commented before about not liking him, people said a few critical things. I get it, but I think I won't stop hating it until I finish reading the book. Also, Lan Zhan crying and asking if it hurts that much... I love the bond between the two. It was an episode I liked.
