I'm only halfway through this series, but this has been one of the best shows in this category I've seen in a while. Every single episode takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, and the endings are both satisfying and bittersweet. Or maybe that's just me being too sensitive or emotional. π₯² I wonder what the Korean people think about these issues the series showcases and about the resolution. Especially with how extreme and strict the Korean education system is. π€
CYY: I don't want to be just your friend. Are you willing to marry me? GJZ: Are you kidding me? I never thought about us being together. CYY: If you never thought about it, then start thinking about from today!! Ahhhhh, *swoooon*** π« π
Ci Shaβ¦ ci sha β¦ ci shaβ¦. when you act cute, you are genuinely adorable. When you turn cold, you become terrifyingly…
I have not watched the episode from EP 30 yet, only the previews but OMG, I agree with you. I also didn't think I'd get over Xie Zheng, but here I am, switching my phone Wallpaper from XZ to Chen YanYun. π«£π«£π
I want to see the last few (maybe 10) episodes in one go and it really tests my patience. π₯ΉThis waiting is killing meee! πDoes anyone know if we will get all episodes (up until 40) tomorrow, on the 21st? Or will they release the last 4 even later?
I didn't understand YX's reaction. When did GJZ imply she liked him?Why does he think he has the right to say…
I have the same thoughts as you and that whole scene made me so angry!! On what grounds are you questioning her?? He hasn't confessed to her and has been arrogant to her from the beginning, and as far as I remember, he hasn't apologized to her ONCE for any of that sh**t he pulled. π I'm trying to keep in mind that he is young and immature and is dealing with his own trauma, but he still makes me annoyed and angry. π The actor is doing a really good job on portraying the character, hahha :D
I really don't have any 2ML syndrome in this drama. YX has not had ONE gentle word to GJZ, not one! I get that he is also young and immature and is dealing with his own demons, thus trauma, but somehow there is nothing that he did that made me look at him favorably. Maybe CYY is just too good of a man and the way he treats our FL just overshadows everything. π πI mean, the way he looks at her is like molten honey (end of ep. 21 for ex.)ππ
Ahh, I should have known better and not overthrow my own rules of not watching ongoing dramas!! π This is torture, waiting every day for the next episode!!! π Why did I do this to myself?!
does the mother ever get better? I'm on episode 10 and I hate her mother with a passion! Does it get better? Does…
Yes, eventually, but only after ShSh leaves and they get some distance between them. And after SHSH shows her she understands a parent's struggles through talks with the empress. I think close to the end she realizes she did wrong and it was her fault.
