An Actor is in essence an ARTIST that practices a craft. I buy subscriptions and tune into K-Drama's J-Drama's and C-Drama's precisely because of the incredible TALENT that these Actors have.
IF I wanted to watch a cartoon, I could easily go ahead and watch an ANIME or a MANGA - for in essence THAT is what an AI drama IS - just another form of still master shots that get animated in sequence.
For all intense and purposes the base line is that a cartoon is an ILLUSTRATED set of still pictures that together create an animated story - the "style" can be manga or anime, pixar drawn by computer, or NOW AI - artificial intelligence.
However, a cartoon is STILL a cartoon. No human acting. You can DRAW a likeness of an actor but that does NOT make that movie or drama anything else but a cartoon. Never has. Never will.
Period.
I will not watch AI- When I find them, I click OFF, rate 1 Star, AND send the company a scathing note. It is false advertising - Place it or label it as AI or Anime, then it's all good.

I realize not everyone can subscribe and so that is why I do subscribe. I try to even out the balance. And I like the quality better.
However, it is so hard to FIND these drama's - each platform changes the title of the SAME drama, AND only sometimes lists the actors in them.

FYI; There are many Benches dedicated to Alan Yu Menglong being added around the world. GoFundMe has projects that still need funding if anyone is able and interested. I've donated to a few of them.
I can't do much, but THIS and keeping his name and memory alive by watching and sharing any and all information that I find on YouTube, X as well as any other platforms.

1. A verbal agreement will never accepted as legal in a court of law - I dare you to try it someday. I have my own legal council - 3 separate lawyers to be exact and VERBAL is NOT a thing- AND I call bogus on that verbal anyhow - said after her death, in a press conference, and without HER acknowledgement.
2. The DUI - I AM only pointing out doubts - I believe the company did her wrong on this. Caused her to be in the situation in the first place and then left her high and dry. a. SHE NEVER TRYED TO NOT PAY! EESH! NOR did I say she shouldn't! b. The Legal letter HOWEVER asked for an EXORBENT amount that LATER WAS PROVEN to be OVER THE TOP and THEY HAD to amend the amount! Look that one up! C. I am CLAMING this COMPANY BULLIED HER as I believe they CLEARLY did.
3. I can say I was NOT surprised at ALL to hear about the CEO. - THAT to me is a more telling PROF than ANY he said she said gossip previously. And like I said before, I also believe that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

(I wish they would keep listing the Actors in ALL of the Verticals on their platforms.)
What is NEEDED with these drama's -
1- A list of Platforms that the drama is playing on
2 - The TITLE that the platform is calling the vertical drama
2a- Better YET - these platforms getting their stuff together and STANDARDIZING - eesh! STOP CHANGING THE TITLE of vertical dramas on each and every platform for crying out loud!
I have 4 platforms I jump between, YES 4 - and ALL FOUR regularly have the SAME VERTICAL DRAMA just under a different name! It is PATHETIC. and I can't even come on MDL and keep track of what I've watched because ON HERE the NAME IS STILL DIFFRENT! Another reason I WISH ALL the platforms would KEEP LISTING THE ACTORS and giving them credit! That way at least I can find them on MDL.

1. A verbal agreement will never accepted as legal in a court of law -
I dare you to try it someday. I have my own legal council - 3 separate lawyers to be exact and VERBAL is NOT a thing- AND I call bogus on that verbal anyhow - said after her death, in a press conference, and without HER acknowledgement.
2. The DUI - I AM only pointing out doubts - I believe the company did her wrong on this. Caused her to be in the situation in the first place and then left her high and dry.
a. SHE NEVER TRYED TO NOT PAY! EESH! NOR did I say she shouldn't!
b. The Legal letter HOWEVER asked for an EXORBENT amount that LATER WAS PROVEN to be OVER THE TOP and THEY HAD to amend the amount! Look that one up!
C. I am CLAMING this COMPANY BULLIED HER as I believe they CLEARLY did.
3. I can say I was NOT surprised at ALL to hear about the CEO.
- THAT to me is a more telling PROF than ANY he said she said gossip previously. And like I said before, I also believe that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
4. oh geesh.... Have you EVER OWNED a COMPANY? STARTED a company? I have.
a. Do NOT go telling me what KSH could or could NOT do in at the COMPANY he started. He might not be CEO but believe me, HE HAS a HAND in EVERYTHING directly or indirectly. Do not insult my intelligence, I realize this nonsense was spouted for the simple minded. But please.
5. No she couldn't have sued the company, they knew that very well. THAT is why they had her. Of course, the contract they had her sign was effectively making her a slave for them, an indentured servant - THEY gave her NO way to PAY, just a straight up DEMAND for payment IN FULL. And we will DISAGREE on the bad debt because she WAS paying on it, so HOW could it have been BAD? She just could not pay it in FULL - ASAP. I would have sued on the unfair DEMAND for payment in full and exposed them. But that is the difference between someone over 50 with ALOT of experience and someone in their 20's with no experience.
6. And him crying during HIS press conference - words do not even express how fake and inappropriate that whole thing was.
a. AND yes, as SOMEONE who YES DID have a relationship, NO MATTER WHEN OR HOW LONG with KSR - that is NOT in question, HE is NOT JUST someone- MOREOVER, HE is the ONE who ASKED her to sign with HIS new company. - SO no condolences or going to her funeral IS SUS. THEN to threaten to sue - BAD FORM, very very very BAD FORM. -
b. IF this is something you actually can not understand as VERY WRONG then OUCH. The issue is NOT with him expressing feelings. The issue is that SHE IS DEAD. And it had ONLY BEEN a few weeks and HE showed NO REMORCE FOR HER or HER FAMILY. THE FAMILY'S PAIN of DEATH is harsher than ANYTHING he EVER would be going through. Not gonna lie here.
It was like he didn't care at all that she was dead. That her mother would NEVER see her daughter, talk to her hold her ever again. It was like he forgot that a HUMAN being LOST their life.
It was very cold.
Ignore the prof before your eyes - support companies and powerful people who thrive on using and then discarding. Become part of the problem.
I FOR ONE, WILL NOT support companies NOR MEN or women who thrive on the silence, manipulation and suffering of others not strong or able to speak up for themselves.

AND THEN to top it all off - After KSH finishes all about him and his sadness over him HIS LAWYER says to the WORLD he is going to SUE the FAMILY of KSR..... WOW. - what a way of flexing the power muscles AND send a clear message to anyone else listening.... HMMMM
They DID NOT need to announce to the world at the conference, they could have just sent a LEGAL LETTER. Most court cases ARE not announced over the loud speaker, usually a certified letter does the job nicely. So to do this, AT the press conference - EMPATHY ANYONE?
Moreover -
He.... did NOT go to her funeral - rumored he sent flowers - hmmm.... I call lameness on that one.
He.... did NOT offer condolences.... if nothing else, he and she WERE co- workers, close at one time, friends once?
His actions spoke and still speak louder than words.
KSH IS CO- OWNER OF GOLD METLE - HE IS FOUNDER, HE STARTED THE COMPANY
NO getting over the FACT that he GETS A DIRECT PROFIT FROM ALL COMPANY BUSINESS
In other words ... HE IS ONE of the BOSSES! THEREFORE he MAKES POLICY! Period. I HOPE YOU understand THIS.

Who was the passenger? WHY was SHE, a very young STAR the driver that day, and NOT a company driver? isn't THAT odd? And WHY wasn't the passenger held accountable too? Why was she, a KNOWN STAR, the one to "entertain" guests? she was not management.....SHE is ONLY an employee - I for one am SICK of hearing how the entertainment industry PIMPS out their stars- in China, Seems it's the Male stars in S. FYI, an EXPLANATION is NOT a LEGAL Binding document. show me the document that wrote off the debt, . Moreover ....they paid 70%? .... it was revealed that contract was not a good deal, IT was more of a scam - on her. Reading THAT document was eye-opening- companies NEVER write fair contracts- contracts will ALLWAYS be in the companies favor, remember that.
And SHE alone used her money to pay the business back that she damaged....In addition she was working on paying the company back for the termination fee from the canceled drama, because that was WHAT that 70/40 split contract was, THE COMPANY's fee for the canceled drama that they MADE her responsible for- that was the only fee left, Moreover when GOLD METAL sent those LEGAL letters they were OVERCHARGING - look it up, the company HAD to retract the AMOUNT they said she owed them.
BUT for a young 20ish GIRL that would scare anyone. If it had been me - DANG I would have taken them to court, ASAP, sued them for damages AND a host of other things OH HECK NO would that have flown.
This CEO stepping down - I suspect that's just the TIP of the iceberg.
What bothers ME is NOT the accusation of them dating - while a teenager is NOT the best judge of character and is easily led, (I married as a teenager to a man 7 years my senior, not the smartest idea long ago, but it happens.) NO what BOTHERS me is what happened AFTER....
The abuse of POWER that Kim Soo Hyun HE IS FOUNDER and CO -OWNER of his company and therefor HE is culpable for HIS company - I.E. the deliberate SLANDER of HER character RESULTING from/ or as a direct consequence via an incident WHILE she was ON COMPANY TIME and IN a COMPANY VEACHLE where she received NO support from the company which SHE joined because Kim Soo Hyun had ASKED / BEGGED her to. HER company SHOULD have been the FIRST to support her, and run damage control.
MOREOVER, WHY was a YOUNG woman, who had just gotten her license and herself was a STAR ACTOR, WHY was she DRIVING a COMPANY CAR in the FIRST PLACE? Like where was a DRIVER from the COMPANY? And knowing the LAWS in S. Korea on drinking and driving, WHY was she even ASKED to drink at whatever dinner party they were at, and if so WHY did the company have HER drive? AND the hotel clearly KNEW she had drank and so did the passenger, SO WHY was the passenger NOT implicated, which they normally are? AND WHY was SHE diving NOT the male passenger? Was she asked to "entertain" ??? That whole thing is SUS!
AND AGAIN NO HELP FROM HER COMPANY AT ALL, They fired her instead of MAYBE giving her some desk job to help her lay low or damage control with the media. Something, ... ya nothing. Thanks Kim Soo Hyun and Gold Metal.

HIS COMPANY sent actual paper LEGAL documents DEMANDING PAYMENT AFTER 2 years, she must have been working with them within those 2 years, in fact she HAD paid the money to ALL of the store owners BY HERSELF -Moreover, the same YouTube guy they got to smear her after her death - weelll guess what? HE WAS Conveniently SMEARING HER during those 2 YEARS whenever she would get a job - HE SHOWED up and brought her into the gossip news.....HMMMM --------Fishy much? Ever ask yourself?
In addition..... KNOWING that the full amount could not be paid immediately they still had LEGAL documents WRITTEN UP by Lawyers and sent to her LEGALY! Did THEY NEED the money right away? A big company, lots of artists, VS. One out of work YOUNG GIRL in her EARLY 20's HMMMMMM....
WHY DEMAND it from a VERY YOUNG woman and DEMAND PAYMENT IMEDIATLY? NO payment plan NOTHING but PAY NOW -
She NEVER said she heard a a verbal (THEY SAY)"you don't need to pay" and just FYI - verbal NEVER stands up in court! (always get things in writing) WE have her texts begging for a PAYMENT PLAN, not begging for them to write the debt off - NO, but to work with her on time!
WHY did this VERY POWERFUL 30 + year old MAN AND HIS COMPANY threaten a VERY young girl in her EARLY 20's Kim Sae Ron? NOT once but TWICE for such an outrageous amount?
What happens when someone CAN'T pay in S. Korea?
Would they THEN have demanded she "work off her debt"? AN indentured servant? THEIR SLAVE? Until things were paid off?
