exercising is not the only solution, they constantly need to maintain a weight of 49 because that's the standard there and even then, some are bullied for it. they literally look so thin and in dramas they are like, i am so bloated and i am looking so fat tf? and dude, in kdramas they literally show all those stereotypes and the whole korean media is like that. they can't accept female leads who are not perfect perfect robot. if you know typhoon family, the female lead there got so much hate just because she wasn't THAT thin or pretty. they just bully them into losing weight and surgeries are literally SO SO common there, it's impossible. nishimura riki also known as niki was so beautiful but suddenly he's completely changed now. well if you like the main lead here, watch his drama 'the story of park's marriage contract', he's so good there. my roommate is a gumiho is a great drama where he is sml. also wi ha joon was in squid game as well and his new drama 'the midnight romance in hagwon' gained popularity as well

nah tbh all the chinese and literally any asian that's living in US or abroad is muscular and not at all like they are in their own country, i can bet that most aren't even that conscious of their weight as the celebrities are. the stereotypes in this country are god so fucked up. and well dude why would an actor's weight depend on his show? he's not gay, infact he was healthier when he did that drama, obviously the companies forced him to lose weight. my cousin's an actor and he's very muscular and fit, despite that people called him fat?! this media industry is just very brutal.
