My 2nd cdrama and aahh this is such a calm cdrama, like it's not boring at all and at the same time, it's not like chaotic as well. like it's such a slow, calm, peaceful watch and it feels so good and the female lead is so prettyyy. like i don't like characters too early but aahh she's so good

omg you missed it 100% .... if you think Dynamite Kiss was a lovey dovey couple... !!!!!! That dude was doing…
idc about your opinion and yes poor woman/rich man shit is tiring now and wth harassment? in dynamite kiss? have you even watched that show? THAT man was such a green forest and he had been lied to, and he didnt grab her or shit if thats what you are trying to say. and i dont want toxic male leads, i want REALISTIC ONES. my country produces one of the best dramas ever with such realistic characters with raw human emotions, social issues and marital difficulties and other flaws of society are highlighted amongst romance, so yes my standards are high.

well i don't think there would be a fight for custody between the leads as the ml doesnt wanna raise the kid alone and even if he grew feelings for him, obv they will raise him together

Well, honestly, that should be done everywhere. And considering how Korea is—I’ve heard it’s extremely strict with its laws and policies, and my cousin also said it’s very different from how it’s portrayed in dramas—I don’t really know what to believe. Anyway, they definitely have their own procedures, and maybe, for the sake of creating a sad and final ending, they might have Woojoo taken away or something. I don’t know, honestly.

The amount of calmness, patience, and gentleness Si-yeol shows toward Eun-ho’s nasty temperament and mood swings is honestly unreal. He’s such a baby. I’m so in love with his character. The man is absolutely losing his mind over her completely unserious demands, yet he still agrees to them. That’s exactly what makes him so endearing ahhh

Enemies to lovers doesn't have to mean one person has to start out a monster, it means the two people have completely…
I mean, obviously being a bully is no excuse, and no matter how many issues a person has with himself or his surroundings, another person should not be a punching bag because of that. But again, mine is only for entertainment purposes, and I’m enjoying it because of the enemies aspect. I’m a huge book reader, so maybe I’m desensitized to it, because that’s usually how enemies are written. Although he is abusive, that’s where character growth comes in. And besides, obviously he’d get some kind of redemption arc, but he won’t get a love interest this time, if only the second female lead, which I don’t think has any chance. His story will remain incomplete, and that sucks.

As a person who is just watching, it’s easier for me to simply like what I see. Obviously, the person facing it would never love this as it’s shown. Still, I do love the male lead and absolutely want her to be with him, because given her miserable life, who wouldn’t want to be with someone as kind and gentle as him? That’s it. And your interpretations of him being like that make sense, because that’s how broken characters are often written in books and dramas.

he will get his redemption arc soon, there are 4 eps left. saving his father was questionable, like why would…
eh i don't know, like in idol i, the prosecutor got his redemption arc in the second last episode lmao and he was the worst person ever, but here sml um like he has his bad evil moments, but i can see his character growth. also, he might've some complex shit reasons for saving his father, i dont remember but i've seen this type of shit in multiple kdramas where the abused is saving his abuser BUT later finally killing them or trapping them to have a closure

When I watch this, I wonder what the situation is like in Korea in such cases. Can FL just babysit without supervision?…
Well it's more complex and all, but for the sake of the plot, it's happening. usually um i've seen in turkish drama, that they just give the guardianship to the closest relatives first and they DO CHECK sometimes, i'm sure there would be scenes here as well

i really hope bae in hyuk gets the recognition he s=deserves through this drama. i've loved his role in 'the story of park's marriage contract' and his most gut wrenching role in 'my roommate is a gumiho', mind you, he was the second lead there but ugh i cried for him. I LOVVVEE THAT HE'S HEREEEE AND LOOKING SO GOOD

Damn, some of y’all are really pissed because people like Jae Yi and Eun Jo more. First of all, let me clear some things up so no one comes at me. I would never justify domestic violence or slapping. Everyone loves a whole green forest in real life, and that is completely valid because no one wants someone grabbing or pulling them all the damn time. But at the end of the day, this is fiction. It is not like some big alpha daddy CEO is actually going to save us from our problems, right? So wanting enemies to fall in love after all that and showing good character growth falls in the same category.

I have recently been watching older K-dramas, and I finally understand why newer dramas are called soulless productions. These days, K-dramas do not even want anyone to hate the male lead. He is either the most selfless, amazing, astonishing, greenest guy ever, or he is some itty-bitty, unseasoned chicken sarcastic guy in the name of enemies to lovers. Do you all even like this trope?

The newer ones, Dynamite Kiss, Love Next Door, and some others, are not enemies to lovers at all. The trope has literally been ruined by these so-called lovey-dovey couples with a little banter. That is not enemies to lovers.

So yes, I do love Jae Yi and Eun Jo. They are serving angst, their chemistry is on fire, he is actually going through character growth, and they are hot as fuck together. And yes, I do love a good, intense enemies to lovers story. Thank you.
