SML is not a horrible person...per se...but yes...his current actions is annoying.....but for sure he is Not a good friend to the King. Which is sad since he feels he has no one to trust. He thought he at least had his friend (SML).

I actually find that they did well having the trio together in certain situations. It is chaotic and funny.
I like the trio. They are entertaining NOT in the love triangle. Which soo far isn't too annoying. There is some tension but it isn't overly dramatic YET. I hope they keep it up. I know the SML person will shown up soon....soo.. .but again...i don't want her as a consolation prize either....i hope they give it a goos development. There is only 6 ep left.....soooo

She is honest with her feelings but she is not "bending " over for the ML. The ML is clearly into her. The writer did well to display their interactions. Him smiling when he is with her. . Him thinking and worrying about her.
He had trauma with what happened with his queen.....which never went away because of the bad people. He is consume with fear and guilt.
FL is smart to understand that and is being honest and straight. She clearly asked the king what is she to him. She is not forcing herself on him. She is independent in her thoughts anw actions.
The ML saved (marriage ban) the 2nd ML from having to marry the step-sister

I feel many times ppl determine "good" acting by the drama they watch. Many drama i watched and dropped....but it is not an indication of horrible actors....more so that it is a horrible script/storyline/execution/director.
I seen plenty of high rated drama or actors and i don't enjoy it
Also i find that it is not a good analysis unless we seen all of their dramas
Again, all actor are typecasted and has been in same or similar roles. It can't be avoided.
Korean actress Shin se-kyung. Many ppl complain about the same thing about her but has not seen all her dramas. I seen a few i enjoyed and she had played different characters. Many of the characters were the same/similar. The plot is crappy.
In china with the company they are in, they have no control over their script. There was a big issues with Yang zi, where fans were fan about Immortal S. Because they said she was forced to take it. Now she has her own company, she can pick and chose.
I have no real opinion of him. I only seen 3 drama. I enjoyed the 3 drama i seen.
