All these people do is complain and yet they keep watching this. They keep watching the same genre that has the…
They do suffer the typical tropes that they use in Chinese drama.

I'm not saying they can't improve some of these tropes. But watching this for a long time and expecting a different type of formula altogether. It's silly. If you don't like it and it's always complaining about it. It's kind of sick in the head to keep watching it.

Also this is what the Chinese audience obviously enjoyed for decades of them doing these films and movies. I grew up watching Chinese, Thai.. they're formula and tropes are pretty similar. Sometime it's a better upgrade and sometimes they just go back to how extreme it used to be...then in the middle... but guess what gets higher ratings. The dramatic family dramas with all these tropes to a thousand Max

He’s a casanova, he loves doing all this 😂
He was a womanizer in the book and had a harem? They tame it down real good for the viewer here....or else ppl would be trashing him and his simp will be validating it....because it is always the FL fault

TBH I find the actress playing the fox lady physically more appealing than the FL, but the FL is heads and shoulders…
I find all of them beautiful. They all have their own appeal and Chrismatic way

I really like this drama but lately I kind of feel like something's missing... I don't know exactly what it is,…
In every drama you will find something always missing. It's our preference of what we like to see more of...

I had a thought today I feel like a lot of C-dramas are created by people who have time blindness due to having…
All these people do is complain and yet they keep watching this. They keep watching the same genre that has the similar formula.

I use a Chinese Food and Pizza analogy in a restaurant often enough.

But a different genre would be. Going to see a horror movie and expecting a grandiosis romance.

I also think these people just like to whine and complain about everything. If you don't enjoy it. Do you hate yourself that much to keep watching it. I see the same people complaining about the same thing in every forum

i heard the source material novel was even more angsty and had longer heartbreak. the scriptwriters actually simplified…
Maybe don't watch this genre. This type of genre has these tropes. And this isn't even bad compared to what they usually do. If anything, this is nothing. It's tame compare to how the genre usually is.

If you can't watch and enjoy the genre as is. Maybe this genre isn't for you

It's like going to a Chinese food restaurant and getting mad because there's no pizza

I think some people forgetting this is wuxia drama. I feel like a main thing of these dramas is miscommunication,…
It's a xian xia

From what i can gather

All they do is complain. They go eat chinese food, knowing it is chinese food and get mad because there isn't pizza

Also, these tropes are not even bad compared to how they usually are

what if the producers made this drama to troll the people who have complained relentlessly about the most annoying…
They misunderstanding was over exaggerated by many viewers.

It wasn't even that bad. I seen soo much worst than this. Better than the misunderstanding.....is the understanding the lead gave to each other for why they did it.

I really like this drama, but to be completely honest, I too feel like there's something's missing, I don't know…
Every drama is flawed. If you enjoy it. Watch it. If it doesn't entertain you and you don't enjoy it. Go watch something else. There's so many out there

Aggravating is the amount of people are like oh they should communicate. It’s so easy. No, it isn’t. Communication…
People have no objective, critical thinking. They just think something is so simple and easy.

They don't understand what type of genre they watch? Also it really wasn't that big of a deal. It also help push the story along for some emotional death.

I even posted a podcast by expert about the human condition. The host is over 30 and he said he struggles with being honest with his partner because he doesn't want to hurt them. This happens in real life. Is not some made-up story just to push a storyline.

So she live all 18 years? of her life in a lie. So that could become undone within the month?

She is condition to lie. She has no goal. She has no identity.

Ming yi only existed for over a month. Who is she? She doesn't know. What is her goal? Her goal is to advance what was told to her since childhood to do.

During that one month it's when she's actually able to maybe discover who she really is but you cannot undo 20 years of manipulation and conditioning in one month.

There's consequence for her action and she takes accountability for it. She doesn't have many words but her action shows her being genuine.

When her master try to trash the male lead. She clearly said it's her own fault that she lied to him and he is not to be blamed for it.

Male lead being objective. Understand her background in situation.

As I post a podcast on the expert of human communication. People who are adults in real life have issue telling the truth because they don't want to hurt people.

Also to add that a human's brain is not fully developed until they're 26 Plus. The frontal cortex which is the Judgment part of your brain isn't there for you to have better judgment.

We are all guilty of making stupid decisions for the moment and later on we realize that it's stupid and we could have done it in a different way

From watching the video of Hou Minghao's live answering questions about the drama and doing an in-depth explaination…
He also understand her upbringing. When he was discussing with the dragon. He stated that lying is second nature to her. Her whole life is a lie. This is the only time in her life, this past month that she's in her true form. Ming yi only exist for over a month. Even though she's in her true form and discovering her true self. She really doesn't have an identity. Who is she besides a fake Prince. Who is ming yi? Her goal? Got none? Identity, still pending.

He knew that she read crumbed him with some information but couldn't fully execute it
