Many cnetz actually commented that they loved pwx the most out of zlh's characters, so I guess this drama did well for him. They also many compliments for zjm as well, so in my opinion this drama is a hit as it pushed the actors and gave them more recognition.

Idk, it performed well in china compared to other dramas this summer so I think it is a hit. But many people did not like 2nd ml's screentime so it could also be a flop. I think it depends on how you define hit, this drama was very popular whether that was for good or bad reasons, so I guess it is a hit 🤷‍♀️

Especially since we are getting an extra with the kids, I am even happier. It is rare to find a historical drama with such a perfect ending.

I am glad that both actors are appreciated, when watching the bts I can see that they both fully embodied the characters and worked very hard during the winter (I heard they got sick when filming rain scenes but they still continued to film)

Haha I was annoyed at first but after doing some research in the 2nd ml actor and finding out what a sweet and kind person he is, I also became a fan. That is why I don't care about his screentime either but I do feel bad for zlh since he put in a lot of effort to act as pwx but they cut his scenes 😥
