And for that really enjoyable. I like detective series, my Mom is a big Agatha Christie fan, so as a little child a saw lot of Poirot (portrayed by David Suchet)
I think this kind of series more enjoyable than those with too much "cuteness" and overplayed cringe love scences.

And? 16 episodes is really short. They planted 24 episodess.

But they could made the extras in to the series.

I think this was the part they cutted out and made the series 8 episodes shorter.

Time for reread the novel especially those parts which was cutted out....

I miss that part when he tells to SS that he can feel pain but he was taught that he can't show any weakness. I liked that part because after that SS wants to protect him :3

In the novel SS "still the boss" even in their married life.

The only thing I want to complain is the length of the series. Too short.

Definitely will be changes because SS's line "it hurts me too" is from an extra when HY got hurt after saving Peanut but don't want to admit that he is in pain. And actually in that scene SS stabbed himself.

Lele is mini Shen Wenlang so the dialouges between Peanut and Lele really resemble between their fathers 🤣In the extra chapter where Hua Yong, Gao Tu, Peanut and Lele was kidnapped little Lele made Gao Tu blushing 🤣

16 episodes is too few. There should have been at least 20-25. I hope at least it has couple of extras.
