Idk, something about this arc is falling flat for me. I'll try to put it into words: 1 - Too much to fit into…
Yes, you articulated what was on my mind well! Vol 2 of the novel has several povs that were important because they showed story development!
I think pie and golf are doing an okay job given that they are very new to portraying the friendship of tiger and nao. They are moving fast but at the same time it's very very slow 😭
I hope they do justice because these guys were cute!
There is A LOT to their story. They’re trying to give us the back story. I wondering how they were going to…
New Zealand drama yess but that was a tad bit messy! I love that they worked things out but Ben didn't have to up and leave Singha 🤣 I can't believe the whole scene got buried, like their mafia reach is something to be reckoned with!
They were cute. It is sad that they will leave out JaydenDan 😭
i didn't feel like this was filler, but given there only 5 eps left, i didn't care so much that we getting a branch…
so as someone who read the novel, I feel like Singha is do an okayish job portraying his feelings to Ben about his brother. as for Tiger, I think it was the 3rd year where the whole argument with Nao in the trailer happens. To get to that point because there's no more stories left to do anymore, they should ideally be in uni by the end of the next episode. which by the looks of it isn't happening. the Hong Kong arc before that has to happen! they will have to wrap things up and there's so much that happened even after they got together!

I feel like they could have shown development with his brother atleast. like yes he is coming to terms with his feelings but idk how to explain why I wanted more than what we got 😅
I edited it, it was a typo! there's so much to be shown they are dragging it! I wish they showed more in this episode! there will be time jumps as well 😭😭
omg!!! I have the same thought!!! I watched the 2 episodes the day before and I kept thinking about how my back…
The brother didn't. he barely got more than 5 chapters, correct me if I'm wrong.
I don't think they'll ever do JaydenDanNuae. Given that they started dating at 19 and 27 the age gap plus how the story portrayed his mental age would make it very grooming-esq. I know it's not that but it feels very Stockholm adjacent. 😬
Lightest school bags ever…Suer’s brother seems sad. I’m guessing he’s not keen on the family business…
omg!!! I have the same thought!!! I watched the 2 episodes the day before and I kept thinking about how my back used to hurt during school days 😭😭😭 Put something in those bags please!
Singha has an interesting story line in the books. I enjoyed it. it's not that he isn't keen, he just hiding his true feeling towards his brother!
Does this mean that Part 3: Lately, it's Winter Season, hasn't been filmed at all? But the actors in the Doc Gang w/ their partners have already said goodbye to their characters... does this mean they don't have cameo roles or anything? Or did I misunderstand??
The f!! I actually cared that the Sui-the-Older did that to Sui-the-Younger!! Wow. I mean, I was kind of certain…
I truly believe that QiMin cared not an iota for StY. He has shown this through his actions over and over again. He is obsessed only with YQQ. He will kill his own son. He isn't avenging his parents, he thinks he has the worst luck, his pity party has a full count of 1. Him self. StY was a softie for his kin, that's why he hesitates. QM said correct, you should not show mercy.
Kudos to both actors ❤️ they are doing/did amazing! 🔥💯
Argh, I am so fickle...I hated his guts but now that he's dead, I am mourning him. He's truly a psycho but I cannot…
I had tears streaming down my face. It's been a while since I could empathise with a villain. I feel if I read the novel I wouldn't have felt his death this heavily because we can't forget the people he killed. So many deaths, but when you flesh out a villain, the more deminsion there is and esp when he was fueled by his motivation to hunt QM because of his mother, I think that's when I saw his not as a villainous character but as a younger brother who idolised his elder brother, a boy who learnt of deceit and loss at the hands of someone he held at high regard. When he became clear minded and gave the tally to his concubine (I say this because I can't remember her name!) I respected that he didn't want to torment the world he could have ideally been emperor of (yeah that's wasn't in the cards for him ever! But hey a man can dream).
Damn good acting. Finally a death that serves some purpose!
is the drama worth it? have yet to watch still pondering
so here's the thing, I would give you three different answers depending on which week you asked me from ep7 onwards.
Ep 7 I was optimistic, I was unbothered and ignorant. I would have said: It is frustrating but the 2nd couple steal the show and they bring it all together, definitely watch. Hopefully our main leads will get their heads out of their asses soon!
Ep 8, tbh, a fucking whiplash. I was taken through so much in that hour. This is a show I look forward too but because of the 2nd couple. BOY WAS I MAD. I am a believer of OTPs. This series has truly tested me in ways I didn't know I could endure. Some of the blatant and obvious plot points were revealed and one plot that was so fucking badly executed that I could have been stabbed to death and I would still be questioning why the fuck whatever the fuck happened was going on. So I would have been like tread at your own risk. This show is a hit or a miss.
Ep 9 because I have come this far, I ain't gonna quit. This left a bitter aftertaste that wasn't unpleasant but it was... constant. A shadow of the potential that was just wasted. The life that we could have witnessed that would have us yearning for more. It was a good episode, but it could have been so much more.
If you are able to form your own opinion without being sway by the masses you might enjoy it. The misunderstanding trope being your vibe, you will definitely appreciate the tact and artistic way they have woven it in the plot, so intricate, we as viewers, burnt good calories not taking action on their decisions. watch it on 2x and start mid week so by the time Saturday rolls around you haven't wasted much time or you finished just in time for the finale.
