I went back to watch the intros for all the contestants like when they talk about how hot and popular they are. (Its actually quite entertaining because now we know how they "really are") JinSeok's intro was the least cringey out of all of them, if at all. He comes off as genuine on the show and sticks to his brand. Love it.

I'd say its a win-win for both GH and the show. I think after Dex's success from SI, its hard to believe that contestants on this show don't harbor hopes of "making it" in the k-entertainment industry afterwards. He's getting up there in age and can't be a bball player forever so I wonder if hes hoping for SI to be a platform for which he can gain popularity. Show needs him yes but I do think he's hoping the show does something for him - maybe there's an agreement? I dont know, I'm just a mere plebe.
I did see that bit with Won-Ik and Sieun. It was incredibly painful to watch. And Hajeong is probably the best conversationalist out of the the female contestants and yet the conversation with her and Won Ik probably STILL wasnt interesting enough to air. Tragic.

I really just couldn't with MinYoung and Jinseok's conversation. He very clearly apologized for making it too obvious that he had his eyes set on her and how they might have caused her to feel uncomfortable and said that he would be more careful moving forward. She then responds to him by saying that she was a teeeeeeny bit annoyed at him for literally all the reasons he just apologized for. That had to be scripted. And for that, I'm angry at the script.

gwan-hee is the biggest red flag ever i can’t stand him honestly hajeong deserves so much better
Its funny because I think their characters fit each other. I like how she can stick it to him straight because he needs that. And he kinda keeps her on her toes which presents kind of a challenge for her and I think she likes that. I dont think the type of person that Hajeong portrays on the show would want a goody two shoes or someone whos sweet and kind. I mean, I can't picture someone like that for her. Having said that though, I hate GH's persona on the show. Its a big no thank you for me!

I think Ha jeong is the type of girl who likes a good challenge and looks for a partner who can keep up with her sarcasm. I bet she finds him annoying but also intriguing and worthy of her time.
