I think it’s less of him assuming the worst of her and more of him being totally insecure. if their relationship was actually out in the open, he can show the world that’s his woman. but bc the relationship is hidden, he can’t. and I bet that kills him on the inside. may this be a lesson to all of us. relationships should be open for all to see! otherwise both may suffer from unspoken and hidden feels.

very curious what his storyline was in the novel bc it didn’t really hit in the drama for me. yes, it’s sad. but whether or not his character was in the drama didn’t really add much flavor for me. unless his departure is the catalyst that causes their breakup? I was never able to grow close to his character.

I think having this relationship relatively in the dark ended up hurting the both of them. that and their boss/subordinate relationship. SZT isn’t wrong about feeeeling like there needs to be equal footing in a relationship. and if she doesn’t feel that way, it needs to be communicated. he likely doesn’t feel like he has equal footing, but not from a work perspective but perhaps how he constantly needs to hold back too as her boss. all that pent up frustration could lead to insecurity and a fear of loss.

It’s hard to communicate and grow when you only see each other on weekends or periodically and have to keep it together at work regardless of how you’re feeling about each other. it’s messy, I like it. a representation of how life can get!

with 4 episodes left we would have gotten express 2 episodes ago. 😒 wth are they doing? show had excellent momentum and STILL WOULD but one episode a day is like driving a car with a stop sign every 2 minutes.

I’ve been around for about ten years of cdrama watching. I believe this type of drama is the first of its kind. mature characters with this many intimacy scenes and they’re not cringey

did you see that one scene when she was wearing her backless dress and she was straddling him on the couch but his hands were like climbing a tree or something. never once was it in contact with her bare back and it kept moving around. it was some neck, shoulder… waist… 😒😒😒so distracting. it’s just unrealistic for two adults in the heat of the moment with her entire back exposed!!!
